Prescolar / Preschool

Pablo and I always we had flirted with the idea to send our girls to a pre-k this school year that it has recently begun. We always said that we were going to look for information about but we always end up with nothing. After we returned from the trip we made the decision of not sending them to school this year and to wait for the kindergarten. But as days go by I realized that although we make diverse activities in the house it was just us three and this sometimes made us feel tired of the routine. So Pablo and I decided last Tuesday that we would look for information and register them in the school now.

By coincidence we went to a preschool in which I worked eight years ago teaching pre-k, but after leaving the school I lost communication with them. Even so I knew that the school was still open I was timid about going back there (bealive it or not I am timid). On tuesday we were driving to another school to obtain the necessary information but right when we were about to arrive there we decided not to go and we simply went to the preschool I worked in. Sofia and Paola were happy when we told them that we were going to see a school for them and upon arriving at the place they were as if they have always had been there.

It was very exciting to see them so happy and to see my old coworkers. And believe me, God's hand were at work here they even gave us the uniforms for Sofia and Paola. We know and we understand that this was not pure coincidence, it was something set on our way. Another important data is that while we were driving to the school Pablo asks me what time of the day would be more feasible, the morning or the afternoon and I answered that in the afternoon would be ideal and know what, we register them in the afternoon (12:30 to 3:30), excellent. So since lastTuesday in the afternoon we are acquiring the necessary materials for the beginning of classes next Tuesday, August the 10th.

We are all happy with the decision taken and praying to God that all go well.

Things always do seem to work out the way they are supposed to .....
I am really happy that you guys are so happy with your choice! It sounds like your girls are ready for some school time outside of home and that time for you will be great : ) I'm glad to hear this all worked out.

Are Sophia and Paola done with naps now?

Good luck with the start of preschool next week. My daughter is 3 and is starting preschool on the 17th. It's a bittersweet moment. I really prayed asking God if it was the right decision to send her and if we should be sending her 3 days a week (which is the only afternoon program they have). I believe it is the right decision and I am hoping for no crying or aprehension (at least from my daughter).
