Tengo Dudas, Ayuda!!! / I Have Some Doubts, Help!!!

Quisiera que alguna de ustedes chicas expertas cocineras me ayudaran. Tengo varias dudas que quisiera aclarar. Casi siempre y dependiendo de lo sabrosa que me quede la comida tengo que guardar algo en la nevera. Pero, para mí sería ideal coger esa comida y guardarla en el congelador para que de esa manera nadie se aburra al otro día de comer lo mismo, sino que lo podamos comer después.

Ahora mis dudas son:
1. Sí la comida la guardo en el congelador no tengo que echarle nada, solo sacarla y calentarla.
2. ¿Cuánto tiempo puede estar esa comida congelada?
3. Es bueno hacer esto o no.
4. ¿Qué tipo de comidas ustedes congelan?

Para mí lo importante es tener comida saludable y así no consumir tanta comida afuera. Ayuda!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted that some of you cooking experts help me. I have several doubts that I need to clarify. Almost always and depending on how tasty is the food I have to keep some leftovers in the refrigerator. But it would be ideal to take that food and keep it in the freezer so that way nobody would be bored of eating the same thing the next day, instead we could eat it days later.

Now my doubts are:
1. If I keep the food in the freezer do I have to add anything to it when I remove it from there or just reheat it.
2. How much time can it stay frozen?
3. It is good to do this or not.
4. What type of foods do you freeze?

For me what is important is to have healthy food and thus not to consume so much food outside. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Primera Visita al Dentista / First Appointment to the Dentist

El pasado 20 de octubre mis niñas tuvieron su primera cita en el dentista. En esta ocasión no tuvimos ningún inconveniente con el plan médico pero, no fue color de rosa la visita. Como siempre yo les dí un poquito de sicología con relación a la visita y que el Doctor revisaría sus dientes, y todo el bla,bla,bla que uno les dice. Pues todo fue bien hasta que les tocó el turno de sentarse en la silla. Comenzó el llanto y el decir que no se sentarían. Gracias a Dios el dentista es excelente y supo manejar la situación con ellas (él tiene tres niños así que sabe lo que es esto). En definitiva, no pudieron hacerles la limpieza pero al menos, él pudo ver que no tenían caries y que Sofía ya tenía todos sus dientes mientras que Paola, estaba en ese momento despuntando las muelas.

Pero, aún del llanto que tuvieron el Doctor les regalo un hermoso cepillo de dientes de las princesas de Disney (él sí sabe ganarse a los niños), y ellas estaban emocionadas con su nuevo cepillo. Ahora, tendremos que esperar un poco para hacer la limpieza. Pero, la recomendación que nos dió de continuar llevando a las niñas a nuestras citas con él de manera que le pierdan el miedo así que mañana irán conmigo y verán mientras me realizan un pequeño trabajito en mis dientes pero poco a poco se llega muy lejos.

On October 20th my girls had their first appointment with the dentist. In this occasion we had no problem with the medical plan but not everything was this easy. As usual I had to use some psychology before the visit, told them about the dentist and what was going to happen in the office. Therefore all went well until it was their turn to seat down on the chair. They started crying and refused to sit down. Thanks God the dentist is excellent and knew haw to handle the situation with them (he has three children of his own so he knows what to do). At the end, he could not complete the cleaning but at least, he was able to see that they did not have ant tooth decay and that Sofía already had all her teeth while Paola still misses a couple of molars.

Although they were crying, the Doctor gave them a beautiful Disney princess toothbrush (he knows how to win children confidence). They were excited with their new brush. Now, we will have to wait a little to do the cleaning. But, the recommendation he gave us was to continue taking the girls to our appointments with him so they will start to lose fear, so tomorrow they will go with me to my appointment and see while the dentist works on my teeth, step by step we can get very far.

Nuestras Tareas Escolares / Our School Tasks

Según les había mencionado anteriormente, los viernes son dedicados a las diferentes tareas escolares que realizan mis niñas. Aquí les comparto las fotos de los trabajos que realizamos durante el tiempo que estuve sin computadora.

Oficialmente, ya estamos trabajando con la letra D. Muchos pensarán solo por la letra D, pues sí, recuerden que apenas ellas tienen 3 años y no quiero agobiarlas demasiado por que después cuando lleguen a la escuela estarán cansadas y por otro lado, lo importante es que reconozcan e identifiquen las letras en cualquier lugar y que no sea algo memorizado.

Like I said on an earlier post on Fridays i will write about the different school tasks I do with my girls. Here I share some photos of what we have been doing during the time that I was without the computer.

We are officially working with the letter D. Many will think "still on letter D?", well yes, remember that they are 3 years old and I do not want to burden them too much because later when they arrive to school they will be tired and on the other hand, what is important is that they recognize and identify the letters in any place and not something just memorized.

Our first Thanksgiving craft

Agenda de Navidad / Christmas Agenda

Las tareas para esta semana eran:

1. Buscar las manualidades que realizarás durante la Navidad - Listo

2. Seleccionar las postales navideñas y actualizar el listado de direcciones - Listo

3. Comienza la compra de papel de regalo, cinta adhesiva y otros materiales que necesites para envolver los regalos - Listo (algunos de estos materiales ya los tenía en mi casa y lo único que necesito comprar es el papel de regalo. Esto lo compraré en los próximos días).

4. Limpieza y Organización - Cuarto familiar y armarios en el pasillo -Listo

Tareas para la Próxima Semana:

1. Planifica la comida de Acción de Gracias (verifica sí será en tú casa o pregunta que debes llevar sí es en algún otro lugar).

2. Mantén la casa limpia y organizada (especialmente las áreas dónde ya trabajastes).

3. Limpieza y Organización: Para esta semana tendremos varios trabajos de limpieza pero, no te desanimes son pequeños. Trabajaremos con la alacena, la nevera,los baños y sí tienes cuarto de huéspedes.

4. Continúa con las compras de regalos y ropa para las fiestas Navideñas.

Como ves ya practicamente tenemos la casa lista para la Navidad y poco a poco estamos haciendo las compras, lo que significa que vamos por muy buen camino.

The tasks for this week were:

1. Looking the handicrafts that you can do during Christmas - Ready

2. Selecting Christmas postcards and bringing up to date the addresses list- Ready

3. Purchase of wrapping paper, adhesive tape and other materials needed to wrap the gifts - Ready (some of these materials I already had them in my house and the only thing that I need to buy is the wrapping paper. This I will buy it in the next days).

4. Cleaning and Organization - Family room and hallway closets - Ready

Tasks for Next Week:

1. Plans for the thanksgiving food (check if it will be at your house or asks what you have to bring if it is in some other place).

2. Keep your house clean and organized (especially the areas that have been already cleaned).

3. Cleaning and Organization: For this week we will have various works of cleaning but, do not get discourage they are small. We will work with the closet, the refrigerator, the baths and guest room.

4. Continue purchasing gifts and clothes for the Christmas activities.

As you already see we have the house practically ready for Christmas and little by little we are making the purchases, which means that we are on the way of a succesfull completion of our project.
