Día 1 Vacaciones / Vacations Day 1

Finally, at the airplane

(both girls enjoyed the trip and most of the time they were talking and laughing.

I think they sleep just and hour during the trip)

We landed at Orlando at 4:45 a.m. All of us were so happy to finally be there.

(Do you think my mom was tired, ha)

(my niece decided it was a great time to play with her DS while the other went to Thrifty to get our Maxi Van)

Later, we went to McDonald's for breakfast and the kids played a little bit. After that, we went around and saw Orlando and later we went to Festival Bay Mall (did I mentioned that the check in at our hotel was at 3:00 p.m.)

After we rested and walked around the Mall we headed to Wal-Mart (yes, I went to my favorite store during vacations)

Later, we ate at Cici's Pizza and finally we went to do the check in at Orlando Continental Plaza

(Sofia and Paola were so happy and jumped and played at the bed)

Of course, after all of us were on our rooms everyone went to sleep around 4:00 p.m until the next day (it was a longggggg day)

Regresé !!!!!!!!!!!! / I'm Back!!!!!!!!!!!

Me extrañaron, jaja pues dejénme decirles que yo sí las extrañe queridas amigas. Lamento que no hayan recibido mensajes míos durante las casi dos últimas semanas pero, es que acabo de regresar de vacaciones junto a la familia y obviamente, era necesario desconectarse de la tecnología. Desde el 9 al 19 de julio disfrutamos de la magia de Walt Disney World. Fueron unos días maravillosos y mis chicas no querían regresar acá. Yo había ido cuando estaba en la universidad (hace unos cuántos años, bueno no piensen que soy tan vieja,jaja) y verdaderamente ahora disfruté más que antes ya que en aquel momento estabamos en una convención estudiantil.

Gracias a Dios las nenas se adaptaron muy bien y no tuvimos problemas en el viaje del avión y mucho menos para dormir en el hotel. A continuación les mostraré lo que estuvimos haciendo por día (las fotos vienen después):

Día 1: Llegamos a Orlando a las 4:45 am. Paseamos un poco por Orlando y a las 3:00 pm hicimos el registro en el hotel y a dormir.

Día 2: Este fue el día de nuestro aniversario de bodas y estuvimos en Magic Kingdom (sensacional regalo de bodas por lo menos para mí)

Día 3: Hollywood Studios

Día 4: Animal Kingdom

Día 5: Downtown Disney (este día no hicimos mucho por que Sofia estaba un poco enferma de hecho ahora mismo esta enferma otra vez)

Día 6: Viaje a Miami para visitar a mi tía

Día 7: Fue un día tranquilo en el que necesitabamos con urgencia recargar baterías luego del viaje tan largo a Miami el día anterior.

Día 8: Epcot Center

Día 9: Magic Kingdom

Día 10: Downtown Disney, Florida Mall, Prime Outlets y el regreso a casa.

Durante los próximos días les contaré que hicimos cada día en fotos.

Did you missed me, jaja. Let me tell you that I missed you all my dear friends. I am sorry that I have not posted my messages during the last two weeks but, is that I have just returned from my family vacation and it was obviously necessary to be disconnected from technology. Between July 9th to the19th we enjoyed the magic of Walt Disney World. They were some marvelous days and my girls did not want to return home. I had been there when I was in the university (mot so many years ago, do not think that I am too old, jaja) and I enjoyed it more now than before since at that time I was at a student convention.

Thanks to God the girls adapted very well and we did not have problems neither in the flight nor with the sleeping process at the hotel. Let me tell you what we were doing day by day (the photos will come later) :

Day 1: We arrive at Orlando Florida at 4:45 am. We went sight seeing aroud Orlando until 3:00 pm when it was time to ghack in at the hotel and went to sleep.

Day 2: This was the day of our wedding anniversary and we went to Magic Kingdom (sensational wedding gift for me)

Day 3: Hollywood Studios

Day 4: Animal Kingdom

Day 5: Downtown Disney (this day we did not do a lot because Sofia was a little sick, in fact right now she is sick again)

Day 6: Travel to Miami to visit my aunt

Day 7: It was a tranquil day which we needed urgently to reload batteries after the very long trip to Miami the previous day.

Day 8: Epcot Center

Day 9: Magician Kingdom

Day 10: Downtown Disney, Florida Mall, Prime Outlets and the return home.

During the next days I will write about what we did each day with photos.

Animales Marinos / Sea Animals

Como parte de nuestras actividades de "nuestro campamento" de verano hubo una semana en la que trabajamos con algunos (son muchos) animales marinos. A las niñas les encantó y al día de hoy recuerdan muy bien la actividad e inclusive imitan el caminar del cangrejo, jaja.

Durante los próximos días les mostraré otras actividades realizadas.

As part of the activities of "our summer camp" there was a week in which we worked with some marine animals. The girls loved it and still today they remember very well the activity and inclusive they imitate the to walk of the crab, jaja.

Fin de Semana / Our Weekend

Detalles del fin de semana:

1.Viernes y sábado fueron dos días de sol pero, desde el sábado en la noche tenemos poca presión de agua lo que dificulta las tareas de lavado de ropa.También continuamos nuestro pequeño (gran) proyecto que es arreglar nuestro patio.

2. El 4 de julio fue lluvioso así que querida piscina te veremos en una próxima ocasión. Lamentablemente, teníamos planificado una tarde sensacional pero, terminamos todos dentro de la casa sin mucho (ningún) entretenimiento.

3. El lunes todos dormimos hasta las 9:30 am (sensacional) eso es como decir las 3 de la tarde,jaja. Luego, a finalizar ciertos detalles para las vacaciones y realizar algunas compras.

En fin, fue un fin de semana tranquilo y en la mejor compañía del mundo mis hijas, Pablo y mi familia.

Espero que tengan una semana sensacional.

Details of the weekend:

1. Friday and Saturday were two days of sun but since Saturday night we have little water pressure which complicates the tasks of doing the laundry.We also continue our small (great) project of fixing our patio.

2. July 4 was rainy so my beloved pool we will see you in a next occasion. Sadly, we had planned a sensational afternoon but, we finish all inside the house without a lot of (no) entertainment.

3. Monday we all slept until 9:30 am (sensational) this is the same as if we had slept until 3 in the afternoon, jaja. Then, to finalize certain details for our vacation plans and do some purcases.
In short,it was a tranquil weekend and in the best company of the world my daughters, Pablo and my family.

I expect that everyone has a sensational week.

Mis Resoluciones / My Resolutions 2010

Ya han transcurrido los primeros seis meses del año (cada día se va demasiado rápido) así que repasemos cuáles eran mis resoluciones para este año:

Resoluciones:
1. Bajar de peso (estoy sumamente decidida a lograr mi meta y este año no se quedará en palabras).
2. Realizar diversas mejoras en nuestro hogar (tanto dentro de la casa como en el patio).
3. Realizar mayores ventas en mi tienda Etsy.
4. Realizar un viaje.

Ahora veamos sí he logrado algo de ellas.

1. Bajar de peso: no ha sido puesto en vigor aún pero, tampoco he aumentado de peso. Así que debo trabajar con esto en los próximos seis meses.

2. Realizar diversas mejoras en nuestro hogar: Esto va viento en popa y cada mes hemos ido logrando algo en la casa (las fotos llegarán a fin de año,jaja).

3. Mi tienda Etsy: sigue siendo un fracaso total y rotundo y continuo sin ventas, así que allí lo dejamos.

4. Realizar un viaje: Esta en proceso, más detalles luego.

Al parecer de cuatro resoluciones he trabajado con dos pero, aún me quedan seis meses más para completar mis resoluciones con éxito.

Already six months of the year has gone by (each day goes too fast) so I'll review which were my resolutions for this year:

Resolutions:

1. Lose weight (I am extremely determined to achieve my goal and this year it will not remain in words).

2. Completing some home improvements (inside the house and the patio).

3. Obtaining greater sales in my Etsy store.

4. Making a trip.

Now we see if I have achieved something of them.

1. Loose weight: has not been achieved but, I have neither gained weight. So I should work with this in the next six months.

2. Completing some home improvements (inside the house and the patio): This is happening slowly and each month we have achieved something new in the house (the photos will arrive at end of year, jaja).

3. My Etsy store: continues being a flat and total failure and continuous without sales, so there we leave it for now.

4. Making a trip: This is in process, more details later.

Apparently of four resolutions I have worked with two but, still six months remain for me to complete my resolutions with success.

Dentista / Dentista

Sí, nuestra visita al dentista fue todo un éxito. Las niñas se portaron muy bien he hicieron un gran trabajo (claro, la sicología de qué sí le enseñaban los dientes al doctor y le permitían hacer la limpieza iríamos a Toys R US) y dió resultado.

Nosotros tuvimos que sentarnos con ellas pero, lo que importa es que pudieron hacer las limpiezas. Todos tuvimos hoy nuestras limpiezas y estamos libres de caries, muy bien. Luego, fuimos a Toys R Us, allí le dijimos que escogieran lo que desearan (una princesa, un caballito, una muñeca) lo que quisieran pero, ellas fueron buscando un payaso y no lo encontraron así que decidieron seleccionar una bola y ya. Nosotros estabamos sorprendidos pero, esa fue su elección. Luego, fuimos a McDonald's a comer y jugar y por último a Walgreens donde seleccionaron un rompecabezas de Dora. Ellas estaban muy contentas con sus nuevos cepillos de dientes (de Blancanieves cortesía del Dr), la bola, la comida y el rompecabezas.

Simplemente fue una tarde espectacular.

PS: Cada vez que añado una foto tengo problemas y lo tengo que hacer una a una, alguien tiene el mismo problema o alguna sugerencia.

Yes, our visit to the dentist was all a success. The girls behaved very well and did a great work. Of course, a little psycology was used; if they let the dentist do the cleaning we would go to Toys R US and it worked.

We had to sit down with them but, what it really matters is that we could do the cleaning. We all had our cleaning today and we are free of decay, very good. Then, we went to Toys R Us, there we told to choose whatever they desired (a princess, a ponny, a doll) but, they were looking for a clown and there was none so they choose a ball instead. We were surprised but, that was their selection. Then, we went to McDonald' s to eat and play and finally to Walgreens where they selected a Dora the Explorer puzzle. They were very happy with their new Snow White toothbrushes courtesy of the dentist, the ball, the food and the puzzle.

It was simply a spectacular afternoon.

Pintando / Painting

Como parte de nuestras actividades de verano las niñas han disfrutado pintando. Es divertido verlas darle rienda suelta a su imaginación y ver sus creaciones.

Lamentablemente, no pude colocar más fotos por que no subían, así que tendrán que esperar,jaja.

As part of our summer activities, the girls are having some fun painting. It is amused to see them free their imagination and see their creations.

Fin de Semana / Weekend

Nuestro fin de semana fue verdaderamente tranquilo y por fin, hoy tuvimos el domingo fue un día totalmente soleado después de dos semanas de lluvias.

Viernes: Mi mamá vino a visitarnos con mis sobrinos en la mañana y ellos aprovecharon para jugar con las niñas. En la tarde por primera vez, no pudimos asistir a la clase en el gimnasio ya que comenzó a llover, así que estuvimos en casa.

Sábado: Limpieza de ventanas y screens, de más está decir que es agotador pero no tengo ama de llaves que haga ese trabajo (además no sé si podré tener a alguien limpiando en mi casa). Luego, adivinen, sí comenzó a llover otra vez. Así que no hubo salidas de la casa.

Domingo: Por fin, las niñas y yo pudimos salir de la casa y no llovió. Así que hubo que ir a comprar unos víveres y a prepararnos para algo muy importante en nuestro hogar.

Ojalá que esta semana sea una bastante soleada y podamos hacer varias cosas fuera de la casa y prepararnos para llevar el martes a las niñas a su segunda cita en el dentista, oh Dios.

Our weekend was very tranquil and finally today (Sunday) we had a completely sunny day after two weeks of rains.

Friday: My mom came to visit us with my niece and nephew in the morning and they took advantage to play with the girls. In the afternoon for the first time, we could not attend gym class because of the rain, so we stayed at home.

Saturday: Cleaning windows and screens, it is exhausting but I do not have maid that can do that work for me (besides I do not know if I will be able to have someone cleaning my house). Then, guess, yes it started to rain again. So there was no going out this time.

Sunday: At last, the girls and I could leave the house and it did not rain. So it was time to buy some provisions and to prepare for something very important in our home.

I hope that this week will be a sunny one and we can do several things out of the house and go to the dentist, oh God.

Because I know my girls are so picky we ran to the van and put a pull up. Is much better than an accident at the restaurant, right.

Días Buenos y Días Malos / Good Days and Bad Days

Cada día es único y diferente. Por eso quiero plasmar como fue nuestro día del lunes.

* 12:45 am - Pablo y yo nos vamos a dormir

* 1:00 am - Se interrumpe el servicio de energía eléctrica

* 2:00 am - Las niñas se van a nuestra cama (duermen unos pocos minutos). Luego comienza la incomodidad por el calor y de haber cuatro personas en una cama (tamaño full).

* 3:30 ó 4:00 am - Vienen los recogedores de basura (comienzan las preguntas acerca de ellos.

* Around 5:00 am - Supuestamente estamos todos dormidos,noooooo.

* 6:30 am - Mami se cansa y las lleva a su cuarto y de allí en adelante comienza mi día y sí pensaron que ellas se dormirían, se equivocaron.

* 7:45 am - Pablo sale a trabajar

* 8:00 am - Reestablecen el servicio de energía eléctrica (contaron verdad fueron 7 largas horas)

* 9:00 am - Quitan el servicio de agua (no es mi día)

* Comienzan las "siestas" de 5 minutos y por ende, unas niñas muy molestas por el sueño.

* 1:00 pm - Siesta para ellas y yo disfruto de mi tiempo a solas.

* Después comienza nuevamente la batalla por querer dormir mucho (cosa que era imposible debido a que luego en la noche no dormirían).

* Solución: Un baño para eliminar todo el sueño, resultado positivo.
* 3:30 pm - Reestablecen el servicio de agua (menos mal que hoy no tenía que cocinar)

* Por lo menos finalizamos el día con ellas tranquilas.

Each day is unique and different. Therefore I want to tell you how was our Monday.

* 12:45 am - Pablo and I went to sleep

* 1:00 am - Electric power is interrupted

* 2:00 am - The girls get out of their beds (sleep for only a few minutes). Then begins the inconvenience because of the heat and the fact that there are four people in a full size bed.

* Between 3:30 and 4:00 am - the trash collectors arrive to our street (many questions about them and no sleep).

* Around 5:00 am - Finally asleep, noooooo.

* 6:30 am - Mommy is tired and take them to their room and there is when my day begins and if you thought that they would fall asleep, you are wrong.

* 7:45 am - Pablo leaves to work

* 8:00 am - Electric power is back (you are right, 7 long hours with no power)

* 9:00 am - Now the water service is gone (is not my day)

* they started having 5 minute naps and therefore you have cranky girls all morning

* 1:00 pm - Siesta time and I enjoyed a little peacefull time to alone.

* Later the battle to sleep more continues (thing that it is impossible because later at night they would not sleep).

* Solution: A bath to eliminate all the drowsiness, positive result.
* 3:30 pm - Water service is back (at least I did not have to cook today)

* The rest of the evening went tranquil.

What a day right!!!
