Cambio en el Diseño del Blog / Change on Blog Design

Como podrán ver en menos de una semana hemos realizado dos cambios en el diseño del blog. El que acabamos de hacer hoy es muy especial ya que marca la celebración del segundo cumpleaños de Ana Sofia y Ana Paola. Las niñas cumplen sus dos añitos el viernes 10 de octubre y la verdad es increíble que casi hayan pasado dos años. Les diré que las fotos que aparecen en el nuevo diseño fueron del primer añito de ellas.

As you can see in less than one week we have done two changes on the design of our blog. This last one is very special since marks the celebration of the second birthday of Ana Sofia and Ana Paola. The girls will be two years old on Friday October 10th and the truth is that it's incredible that almost two years have passed . The photos that appear in the new design were of their first birthday.

Feliz Cumpleaños Carmin / Happy Birthday Carmin

Mi hermana Carmin cumplió años hoy. Espero que hayas pasado un lindo día aunque hayas tenido que trabajar. En una próxima ocasión comeremos bizcocho y claro siempre y cuando no pongo en riesgo nuestro peso.

Necesito Ayuda!!!! / Need Help!!!!!!

Hace varios días las niñas tienen catarro y claro está terminamos todos enfermos. Más o menos las cosas han ido mejorando pero tenemos un problema. Ni Ana Sofia ni Ana Paola están comiendo bien. Yo sé que cuando los niños se enferman y aún los adultos no comemos bien pero ellas son pequeñas y necesitan una buena alimentación. Necesito que por favor me ayuden.

Quisiera sugerencias sobre los menús que les puedo preparar. Que me digan que tipo de comidas les dan a sus hijos. Sé que mientras más crecen los niños se ponen místicos para la comida y según he leído en otros blogs hay otras madres pasando por está situación.

It has been several days since the girls get a cold and and now we finish all sick. Things have been improving but we have another problem. Neither Ana Sofia nor Ana Paola are eating well. I know that when children are ill and even adults do not eat well but they are small and they need a good diet. I need that please someone help me.

It need suggestions on the menus that I can prepare for them. Tell me the type of foods you give your children. I know that the more children grow they become more selective for the food and I have read in other blogs that other parents are going thru similar situations.

I hope someone can help me.

Están Mejorando / They Feel Better

Anoche estuvimos en tensión nuevamente por que las dos niñas tenían fiebre. La verdad que me da pánico es la fiebre y cuando sentimos calientes a las niñas rápido les damos Advil. Ana Paola estuvo bastante inquieta durante la madrugada pero luego pudo dormir plácidamente.

Hoy se levantaron mejor y gracias a Dios ninguna tuvo fiebre. Ana Sofia ya estaba comiendo y jugando como siempre pero Ana Paola aún se siente mal. Ella continua tosiendo y con su gotereo nasal. Espero que pronto se recuperenpor que quiero verlas jugar y brincar como siempre.

Que pasen un lindo fin de semana.

Last night we were in tension again because the two girls had fever. What scares me is when fever shows up and when we feel the girls hot we give them Advil. Ana Paola was quite restless during the early morning but after a while she was able to sleep placidly.

Today they woke up feeling better and thanks to God there was no signs of fever. Ana Sofia started eating and playing as usual but Ana Paola still feels bad. She has a continuous cough and with a runny nose. I hope soon she'll be herself again. I want to see them to play and to jump as usual.

Las gemelas están Enfermas / Sick twins

Ayer las niñas comenzaron a sentirse mal. Primero fue Ana Paola que comenzó a toser y tenía gotereo nasal. Después que se levantó le dí su medicamento. Todo estuvo relativamente bien durante el día excepto, en la noche que Ana Sofia también comenzó a tener fiebre. Eso significa alerta total con ella ya que en diciembre pasado le dió una fiebre muy alta de momento y hasta convulsiones tuvo. Rápidamente Pablo, mi mamá y yo le pusimos un supositorio, la bañamos con agua fría y le dimos Advil para niños. En menos de una hora la fiebre empezó a bajar. Toda la noche Pablo y yo estuvimos verificando las niñas. Fue una larga noche para todos.

Hoy Ana Paola despertó más congestionada y Ana Sofia volvió a tener fiebre. Nuevamente les dimos sus medicamentos y en la tarde las llevamos al pediatra. Ana Paola tiene el oído izquierdo con infección y Ana Sofia tiene un virus en su cuerpo. Ya por lo menos tenemos un diagnóstico para cada una y podemos estar un poco más tranquilos. Pobre de mis niñas están irritables, muy lloronas e intranquilas. Espero que puedan descansar bien esta noche y que mañana estén mejor.

Ana Sofia y Ana Paola papi y mami las aman mucho y deseamos que se mejoren pronto.

Yesterday the girls began to be feel bad. First was Ana Paola that began to cough and had runny nose. After she woke up I gave her medicine. All was relatively well during the day except that night when Ana Sofia began to have fever. We were in total alert with her since in last December she had a very high fever and started having convulsions. Quickly Pablo, my mom and I put her a suppository, we bathe her with cold water and we gave her Advil for children. Within an hour the fever began to descend. All night Pablo and I were checking the girls. It was a very long night.

Today Ana Paola awoke more congested and Ana Sofia had fever again. We gave them medicines and in the afternoon we took them to the pediatrician. Ana Paola has an ear infection and Ana Sofia has a virus. Now we have a diagnosis for each one and we can be a little more tranquil. My girls are irritable, they cry a lot and they are not easy at all. I expect that they will rest well tonight and that tomorrow they be better.

Preparativos para el Cumpleaños / Birthday Stuff

A mí me encantan las manualidades y por eso me gusta hacer las cosas para las fiestas. En nuestro hogar tenemos un solo ingreso y debemos hacer ciertos ajustes para tener lo que deseamos. Por eso yo me dedico a hacer de cada fiesta o reunión un momento agradable y especial. El año pasado realicé todo para el primer añito de las niñas y fue con el motivo de Tinker Bell. Para este segundo cumpleaños usaré a Strawberry Shortcake pero la tradicional (la que estuvo de moda para los '80).

Les dejo fotos de algunas cosas hechas para la fiesta. Espero que les guste lo que he hecho y tan pronto tenga más cosas las compartiré con ustedes.

I love crafts and i like to do things for partys. In our home we have a single income and we should do certain adjustments to have what we desire. It is certain, that already there are stores specialized in birthday stuff and that is a lot more easy to buy them that to make them. But I dedicate myself to do of each party or meeting a special one and I enjoy preparing it all. I Always prepare things when the girls are asleep or when Pablo is at home, because the time i spend with Ana Sofia and Ana Paola is very important for me.

Last year prepared everything for the first bithday of the girls and the motive was Tinker Bell. For this second birthday I will use Strawberry Shortcake but the traditional one (the one that was fashionable for the '80).

Here are some photos of some done things i am doing for the party. I hope you like what I have done so far and as soon i have more I will share them with you.

Lluvia vete YA / Rain go away

Desde el pasado jueves todos los días llueve. El sábado Pablo estaba limpiando el patio y casi cuando terminaba comenzó a llover. Pero, desde el domingo las lluvias han sido muy fuertes y la calle donde nosotros vivimos se inundó. Más o menos había como 12 pulgadas de agua en la calle, que horror. Hubo ríos que salieron de su cauce haciendo que las personas tuvieran que abandonar sus hogares. Gracias a Dios nosotros fuimos más afortunados. Ya hoy las condiciones del tiempo mejoraron un poquito aunque todavía llueve pero con menos intensidad. Ojalá que pronto podamos volver a la normalidad y tener unos días más secos.

Debido a la lluvia no pudimos salir mucho aunque en la casa disfrutamos jugando todos juntos y ayudándo a las niñas en el habla.

It's been raining every day since last Thursday. On Saturday Pablo was cleaning the yard and it startes raining. Since Sunday the rains have been very strong and the street where we live was flooded. It rained about 12 inches of water on our street. There were flooded rivers that make people had that to abandon their homes. Thanks to God we were more fortunate. Already today the conditions of the time improved a little bit, although it still rained but with less intensity. I hope we can return to our normal climate and to have some drier days.

Due to the rain we could not leave the house, but we enjoy playing all together and helping the girls with their speech.

Día Tranquilo / Easy Day

Está mañana casi no había agua, otra vez (está sutuación ya cansa llevamos más de una semana así). Rápidamente comencé a realizar varias tareas en la casa y aprovechando la poca agua. Luego, las niñas se levantaron, tomaron leche y las bañé. Luego, ya era hora de su terapia del habla. Después las niñas almorzaron y esperamos a Pablo en la casa. En ese intermedio aproveché para entregar los nuevos libros de AVON.

En fin, durante la tarde fuimos a buscar a mi sobrina a la escuela. Después fuimos a ver a Mamá Millie (mi mamá es maestra) y allí ellas pasaron un lindo tiempo. La tarde la pasamos en casa de mami y allí Ana Sofia y Ana Paola disfrutan muchísimo corriendo de un lado para otro. A las 5:00 pm estabamos buscando a Pablo en su trabajo y ya las gemelas conocen el lugar donde su papito trabaja.

A pesar de todas las cosas que hicimos fue un día tranquilo por que no hubo peleas entre ellas, no tomaron su siesta pero, fue mejor por que en los últimos días las acuesto y ellas comienzan a reírse y hablar. Espero que pronto puedan dormir tranquilas en la siesta.

Aún no tenemos planes para el fin de semana pero, espero tener fotos.

This morning there was a very low preasure of water, again (this already tires us, it has been happening for a week). Quickly I began several tasks in the house and taking advantage of the little water preasure. Then, the girls woke up by themselves, they had milk and I bathed them. Then, it was time for their speech therapy. Later the girls had lunch and we wait for Pablo to arrive home. In that interval I took advantage to deliver the new books of AVON.

During the afternoon we went to pick up my niece at school. Later we went to see Mom Millie (my mom is a teacher) and they had a good time. We spent the afternoon at my mother's home and there Ana Sofia and Ana Paola enjoy a lot running from one side to another. At 5:00 pm we went to pick up Pablo at work and already the twins recognice the place where daddy works.

In spite of all the things we did, it was a tranquil day because there was no fighting among them, they didn't have their nap but it was better because in the last few days I took them to rest and they began to laugh and speak and there was no evening sap at all. I hope soon they will come back to their nap routine.

We have no plans for the weekend yet but I expect to have photos of whatever we do.

Tarde Lluviosa / Raining Afternoon

La mañana estuvo bien soleada pero de repente como a las 2:00 de la tarde el cielo se puso negro, de repente cambió a gris y al segundo era blanco. Comenzó a llover bien fuerte y eso incluyó truenos y relámpagos. Ana Sofia y Ana Paola me miraban y me decían: "A susté", lo que quiere decir me asusté. Y yo intenté mantener la calma con los truenos por que la verdad es que a mí también me asustan. Al poco tiempo de estar lloviendo miré por la ventana del comedor y ví nuestra calle inundada. En seguida busqué la cámara y saqué unas fotos.

Luego, las chicas estuvieron jugando mientras yo limpiaba un poco la casa. Después mientras yo organizaba mis papeles de AVON Ana Sofia me llamó y al mirarla me dí cuenta que se había puesto un pantalón corto. Es la primera vez que ella sola se viste, que emocionante. Pero cuando intente retratarla ya estaba quitandose los pantalones.

Ojalá que mañana no llueva así de fuerte.

The morning was sunny but at 2:00 pm the sky suddenly changed to gray and in a second was white. It began to rain strong and that included thunder and lightning. Ana Sofia and Ana Paola looked at me and they told me: "A susté", which means I am frightened. And I tried to maintain the calm with the thunders because the truth is that they also frighten me. Quickly after it began raining I looked thruthe window of the dining room and I saw our street flooded. Immediately I took the camera and shot some photos.

Then, the girls were playing while I cleaned the house. Later, when I was working with my AVON sales, Ana Sofia called me and I realized that she was wearing shorts which i assumed she put by herself. It was the first time that she did it alone, it made me happy. But when it tried to take a picture she already have removed the pants.

I hope that it will not rain to hard tomorrow.

Disfrutando de una Fiesta / Enjoying a Birthday Party

El sábado estuvimos en una fiesta de cumpleaños. La pasamos super bien y las gemelas disfrutaron muchisímo. Ellas caminaron por todo el estacionamiento, por el pasillo y lo mejor de todo es que también entraron a la casa de brincos. En realidad era un laberinto y al final tenías que lanzarte por la chorrera.
La pasaron divino y lo mejor de todo durmieron como reinas por que estaban super agotadas. Aquí les comparto algunas fotos de la actividad.


El domingo estuvimos haciendo algunas compras relacionadas con la fiesta de cumpleaños. Ayer, lunes simplemente estuvimos todo el día en la casa y claro sin agua otra vez. Al parecer tendré que levantarme sumamente temprano para hacer las cosas del hogar. Por lo menos, como a eso de las 5:00 pm llegó el agua y pude lavar. Hoy, aprovechamos la tarde libre de Pablo para continuar comprando algunas cosas y llenar un contrato a una nueva vendedora de AVON.

Por lo menos, ya no me siento mal por no haber escrito nada desde el viernes. Será hasta mañana nuevamente.

On Saturday we enjoy a birthday party. We have a blast and the twins enjoyed it. They started walking everywhere and there was no stopping them, they even went to the parking lot and by the walkway and the best of all is that they entered to the bouncing house. It was a labyrinth and at the end it has a slide. They passed it divine and the best of all is that they slept like queens because they were super exhausted. I share some photos of the party.

Sunday we were making some purchases related to the birthday. Yesterday, we simply stay all the day at home and guess what... without water again. Apparently I will have to wake up extremely early to get some cleaning done at home. At least, around 5:00 pm the water arrived and I was able to wash. Today, we took advantage of Pablo's free afternoon to continue buying some things and to recruit a new vendor for AVON. At least, I do not feel bad because I have not written since Friday. Until tomorrow.

Weekend

Finalmente llegó el viernes, por fin. Esta semana fue muy larga y los días parecían eternos. A eso le añadimos que hoy he estado tan cansada. Me hubiese gustado dormir pero, la verdad es que no puedo, tengo que estar pendiente de las niñas.

Como si fuese poco desde el martes el servicio de agua potable es interrumpido durante las mañanas hasta las 2:00 ó 3:00 de la tarde. Las tareas de limpieza de la casa se ven afectadas y el lavado de ropa ni se diga. A eso tenemos que añadir que hasta el miércoles estuvo lloviendo y el patio necesita una super limpieza, pobre Pablo. Con toda la lluvia hay unos mosquitos que parecen jets y están tan gordos de sangre que se quedan pegados en tu cuerpo y es fácil matarlos. Gracias a esos mosquitos Ana Sofia y Ana Paola tienen unas picadas horrorosas.

Bueno ya llegó el fin de semana y entre tanta cosa pendiente por hacer hay que sacar un tiempo para las compras de los artículos de la fiesta de cumpleaños de las gemelas. También tengo que hacer las tareas de la casa y pasar tiempo con la familia.

Espero que todos sigan bien y que disfruten del fin de semana. Mis bendiciones para ustedes y que el Huracán IKE desaparezca, cuidense mucho.

At last, Friday finally arrived. This week was very long and the days seemed eternal. Today I have been so tired. I would have liked to sleep but the truth is that I can't do that bacause I have to take care of the girls.

Since Tuesday the water service is interrupted during the mornings until 2:00 ó 3:00 in the afternoon. The tasks of cleaning the house has been affected and washing the clothes is not possible. On Wednesday it was raining and the patio needs a super cleaning, poor Pablo. With all the rain there are some mosquitos that seem like jets and they are so filled with blood that they remain stuck to your body and is easy to kill them. Thanks to those mosquitos Ana Sofia and Ana Paola have some horrible sting marks.

The weekend arrived and we have to purchase the articles for the twins' birthday. Also I have to do house shores and spend quality time with the family.

Happy 23 Months Sweet Angels

Hoy es un día especial ya que mis muñequitas cumplieron sus 23 meses de vida. Pablo y yo analizamos estos casi dos años de vida de ellas y definitivamente decimos que ser padres es lo mejor que nos ha ocurrido. El tiempo ha pasado sumamente rápido y ellas también han crecido demasiado rápido. Ahora mismo ellas están en una edad en la que son curiosas, son dramáticas, les encanta hablar (han mejorado mucho en el habla), corren, saltan, juegan, te besan y abrazan, se trepan en todos sitios y hasta pelean. Pero, a nosotros nos encanta verlas hacer todo eso y más. Que mucha risa nos da las ocurrencias de ellas. Ser padres es algo hermoso y que gracias a Dios puedo disfrutarme al máximo.

Today is a special day since my little dolls are 23 months of life. Pablo and I have analyzed these
"almost" two years of life of them and we know that to be parents is the best thing that has occurred to us. Time goes to fast and they have also grown too fast. Right now they are in an age in which they are curious, very dramatic and they want to speak (they have improved a lot in their speech), they run, they jump, they play, they kiss you and hug you, they climb everywhere and even they fight. We simply love to see them to do all that and more. Their occurrences makes us laugh. Being parents is something beautiful and thanks to God I can enjoy this to the maximum.

Voy a compartir con ustedes las últimas fotos de las niñas. Las primeras fotos se tomaron el domingo en la mañana. Allí están en nuestra habitación jugando con los maquillajes de mamita. Les encanta simular que se están maquillando, ponerse las pulseras y las cintas en el pelo. Ellas son unas verdaderas divas.

Las siguientes fotos son de hoy. Durante el día no hubo agua y cuando Pablo llegó de trabajar (gracias a Dios que salió al mediodía) fuimos a Burger King a comprar comida, no es nutritivo pero, cuando hay hambre y no tienes agua debes comer lo que sea. Luego de las niñas comer sus "chicken tenders" les dimos refresco. En realidad yo sé que el refresco o soda no alimenta pero, de vez en cuando pueden tomar un poco. Además, los vasos eran así de grandes por que eran los de nosotros. Ellas se disfrutaron su bebida.

Todas las noches ellas ven televisión antes de ir a dormir. Pues hoy estaban viendo el programa Lazy Town y a mí no me hicieron nada de caso y la verdad a mí me estuvo muy cómico. Esas son las últimas fotos que encontrarán.

I am going to share with you the last photos of the girls. The first photos were taken Sunday in the morning. There they are in our room playing with the mommy's makeups. They love to simulate that they are grown ups, they put bracelets and hairbands. They are some true divas.

The next photos were taken today. During the day there was no water and when Pablo arrived from work (thanks God at noon) we went to Burger King to buy food, is not nutritious but, when there is hunger and no water, we need to eat . After the girls have chicken tenders we gave them soft drink. In reality I know that the soft drinks or sodas are not good for them, but occasionally they can take a little. The drinks were large because they were ours (parents). They enjoyed the beverages.

Every night they see television before bed time. Today they were watching Lazy Town and they ignore me completly and the truth it was very funny. Those are the last photos posted.

Día del Abuelo / Grandparents Day

El día comenzó con lluvia y según los noticiarios era lluvia asociada con el Huracán Ike. Aprovechamos para levantarnos un poco tarde (10:30 a.m.) que vagos somos. Al mediodía ya había dejado de llover por lo que decidimos salir a comprar algunas cosas que necesitabamos para las niñas. Quisimos llevar a mi mamá con nosotros ya que siempre está trabajando.

Fuimos a Wal-Mart (mi tienda favorita) y claro donde yo consigo los mejores precios en las cosas de Ana Sofia y Ana Paola. Luego fuimos a comer al Green Panda y la verdad es que la comida estuvo sabrosa. Pasamos un buen rato y las niñas comieron bien.

Después llevamos a mi mamá a su casa y allí estuvimos un rato. Las niñas disfrutaron mucho con sus abuelos. Ellas comieron galletas, corrieron, vieron un libro y hasta bailaron. Luego, nos fuimos directo a nuestra casa para que la rutina de dormir no se atrasara.

En fin, pasamos un lindo día. Queremos decirle a Mamá Millie y Papá Junior que los amamos mucho.

The day began with rain and according to the news it was associated with Hurricane Ike. We took advantage to raise wake up a little late (10:30 a.m.), how lazy we are. It stopped raining by noon so we decided to leave home to buy some things we needed for the girls. We invited my mom with us since she is always working.

We went to Wal-Mart (my favorite store) where I find the things for Ana Sofia and Ana Paola. Then we went to eat to the Green Panda and the truth is that the food was tasty. We stsyed for a while and the girls ate well.

Later we took mom back to her house and there we were a while. The girls enjoyed a lot with their grandfathers. They ate crackers, they ran, they saw a book and even danced. Then, we came back to our house to start our night time routine and sleep time not delay.

In short, we pass a pretty day. We want to tell Mom Millie and Dad Junior that we love them a lot.

El día de hoy lo pasamos muy tranquilos en la casa, bueno las niñas y yo. Pablo tuvo que trabajar y llegó tarde. Nosotras nos divertimos jugando y ellas aprovecharon para hacer algunas travesuras. Cada día que pasa va aumentando su vocabulario y hoy dijeron algunas palabras nuevas. Es emocionante escucharlas hablar más cada día y sé que muy pronto podremos tener una conversación.

Quería aprovechar para pedirles que nos escriban sus comentarios ya que es triste ver que nadie dice nada. El blog está escrito en español e inglés para que muchas más personas conozcan nuestra historia y compartir con ustedes las cosas que ocurren en nuestra familia. Espero saber pronto de ustedes.

Today was a very tranquil day here in the house well, for the girls and I. Pablo had to work and arrived late. We entertained ourselves playing and they took advantage to do some mischiefs. Each day that that goes by my girls are enlarging their vocabulary and today some new words were said. It is exciting to listen them to speak more each day and I know that very soon we will be able to have a conversation.

I would like to ask you for your comments. I'm feeling kind of sad since nobody writes on my blog. The blog is written in Spanish and English so that many more people can read about our history and things that occur in our family. I wish to know you soon.

Nuevo Juguete / New Toy

Todo continua igual excepto que no llovió. Después de cuatro días consecutivos de lluvia hoy pudimos ver el sol. Ya hasta se nos había olvidado que era amarillo y brillante. Pablo se ha sentido mejor hoy y ya mañana deberá ir a trabajar. Pobre después de varios días de descanso tiene que ir un sábado a trabajar. Al igual que ayer estuvimos todo el día en la casa. Lavamos la ropa y hice algunas tareas de la casa. Hicimos algunos preparativos para el cumpleaños de Ana Sofia y Ana Paola. Solo falta un mes y aún no hemos terminado de comprar algunas cosas. La verdad es que debemos darnos prisa por que sino a última hora tendremos mucho trabajo.

Cambiando el tema, les contaré que mientras Pablo y yo hacíamos algunas cosas para el cumpleaños Ana Sofia y Ana Paola se fueron a jugar en la cocina. Ellas decidieron que sus juguetes ya eran muy aburridos y que jugar en la alacena era lo mejor. Sacaron toda la compra, hicieron una torre con las latas de comida en fin, se divirtieron en grande.

Pablo fue el fotográfo del día y captó esos momentos de alegría. La verdad es que yo aproveche que sacaron toda la compra de la alacena y la limpie. Definitivamente hay que ver el lado positivo a las travesuras de las niñas.

All continued the same except that it did not rain. After four consecutive days of rain today we could see the sun. We forgot how yellow and brilliant it is. Pablo is feeling better today and tomorrow he should be going to work. After several days of rest he must return to work on a Saturday. Just like yesterday we were all day in the house. We wash the clothes and I did some housework. We prepared some details for the birthday of Ana Sofia and Ana Paola. Is just a month away and we have not finished yet buying some things. The truth is that we should hurry because at the last minute we will have a lot of work.

Changing the subject, while Pablo and I were preparing things for the birthday, Ana Sofia and Ana Paola went to play to the kitchen. They decided that the toys are boring and playing in the food storage closet is better. They removed all the groceries, they did a tower with the food cans. I'm sure they enjoyed it big time.

Pablo took pictures today and grasped those moments of happiness. The truth is that I took advantage of that and clean the food storage Finally ,there is some positive side to the mischiefs of the girls.

Sigue Lloviendo / Still Raining

Oh Dios, la lluvia continua. Parecía que no llovería pero, en la tarde comenzó a llover bien fuerte. Hubo truenos fuertes y nuestra calle se llenó de agua. Por lo menos, la electricidad siguió funcionando normal.

Hoy estuvimos todo el día en la casa, solo salimos a depositar la orden de AVON. Pablo todavía sigue con dolor de espalda y tomando medicamentos.

Bueno, nada más que decir por el momento.

Oh God, the rain continues. The sky looked precious in the morning and I thought that it would not rain but in the afternoon it started to rain very strong. There were strong thunders and our street was filled of water. At least, the electricity continued functioning normally.

Today we were all day in the house, we only went out to place the order of AVON. Pablo still sick. He is taking some medicines. I hope he gets well soon.

Vaya día / What a day

El día comenzó un poco difícil. A las 2:00 a.m. la electricidad se fue debido a las fuertes lluvias y el viento luego, tuvimos electricidad nuevamente como a las 6:00 a.m. y a las 6:30 a.m. la volvimos a perder. En ese transcurso Ana Paola se despertó debido a la calor y ni Pablo, ni ella ni yo dormimos bien. Finalmente, la electricidad volvió a las 7:40 a.m. más o menos y por fin, pudimos dormir.

Pablo, tampoco se ha sentido bien ya que tiene dolor muscular y no ha dormido bien. Así que fue necesario ir al médico para que le recetara algún medicamento que lo aliviara. Después de perder casi la noche, nos levantamos todos a las 11:00 a.m. para comenzar a bañarnos y vestirnos para ir al médico.

Estabamos contra el reloj y queríamos aprovechar que no estaba lloviendo, yo tuve que guiar por que el dolor no le permite a Pablo hacerlo. Así que tuvimos una tarde bastante agitada pero, logramos conseguir medicamentos para su dolor.

Ya de vuelta la casa, preparé una lasagna, bañamos a las niñas y cuando por fin las sentamos a ver Hi 5, se cortó la electricidad otra vez. Así que las niñas comenzaron a llorar y a gritar por su programa favorito. Luego, de 40 largos minutos todo volvió a la normalidad.

Ya todo pasó y sólo espero que el día de mañana sea mejor.

The day began a little difficult. At 2:00 to a.m. the electric power went down due to the strong rains and the wind. Then, when we had electricity again at about 6:00 a.m. and by 6:30 a.m. we lost it again. Meanwhile Ana Paola woke up due to the loss of air conditioning and neither Pablo, Paola nor I sleep well. Finally, the electricity returned at 7:40 a.m. and at last, we could sleep.

Pablo, didn't fell well because of muscular pain and has not slept well. So it was necessary to go the doctor for a prescription that alleviated it. After losing almost the whole night, we woke up at 11:00 a.m. to go the doctor.

We were against the clock and we wanted to take advantage of the fact that it was not raining, I had to drive because the pain does not permit Pablo to do it. So we had a quite agitated afternoon but, we manage to obtain medicines for its pain.

When we returned back to the house, I prepared a lasagna, we bathe the girls and when were ready to sit them down to see Hi 5, the electricity was out again. So the girls began to cry and to shout for their favorite program. Then, after40 long minutes all returned to normality.

I hopet that the day of tomorrow would be better.

Disfraces de Halloween / Costumes for Halloween

Finalmente, hoy pudimos terminar de hacer las compras que no pudimos hacer ayer debido a la lluvia. Claro, también hoy estaba lloviendo y así continuará por los próximos días debido a la tormenta tropical Hanna. Fuimos a Wal-Mart, que felicidad ir durante la semana ya que no había mucha gente, fue sensacional.

Mientras comprabamos, fuimos al área de Halloween y decidimos mirar. En un momento fuimos con la intención de comprar o separar los disfraces pero, comenzamos a buscar y encontramos los disfraces ideales para las niñas. Decidimos vestirlas iguales y aprovechar la oportunidad de que se podía hacer lay way sin hacer largas filas. Queríamos algo lindo para ellas así que escogimos a Blanca Nieves.

Finally, today we were able to finish the purchases that we could not do yesterday due to the rain. Today was also raining and will continue for the next days due to the tropical storm Hanna. We went to Wal-Mart, is better to go during the week since there is not too many people, was sensational.

While we bought, we went to the area of Halloween. We had the intention to buy or to separate the costumes but we begin to seek and we find the ideal disguises for the girls. We decide to dress them equals and to take advantage of the lay way. We wanted something pretty for them so we chose Snow White.

Día del Trabajo / Labor Day

Hoy, fue un día tranquilo. Realizamos ciertas tareas de limpieza en la casa. Aproveché para lavar la ropa antes de que lloviera pero, no tuve mucha suerte ya que llovió. Luego, decidimos ir a Sam's Club a comprar los pañales desechables de las nenas y adivines qué, también estaba lloviendo. Tuvimos que realizar las compras bien rápido ya que estabamos a unos 40 minutos de nuestra casa y la lluvia estaba apretando.

Tengo que contarles que ayer salimos con mis padres de paseo y llevamos las niñas a un lugar que se conoce como el Castillo de los Niños. El lugar es hermoso pero, ahora mismo está un tanto descuidado y no tenían las atracciones disponibles. De todos modos, las niñas disfrutaron caminando por el lugar. Aquí les dejo algunas fotos de ese paseo.

Today, was an easy day. We carry out certain tasks of cleaning the house. I thought i could wash the clothes before the rain but I did not have a lot of luck since it rained. Then, we decide to go to Sam' s Club to buy diapers and guess what, it was still raining. We had to complete our purchases quikly since we live about 40 minutes away from the store and the rain was pressing.

Yesterday we went out with my parents and we took the girls to a place that is known as the Castle of the Children. The place is beautiful but they did not have most of the attractions available. Anyway, the girls enjoyed just walking around the place. Here are some photos of that trip.
