The girls don't had school because it was Teacher Appreciation day. And thanks God it was a no school day because we were very tired because the night before was their field night.

After church we went to McDonald's.

The girls went to bed at 10:30 and we saw the Biggest Looser.

Sunday

The girls woke up at 8. Pablo tried to sleep more but we were playing near him, ha! We had breakfast, he cleaned the yard while I ironed (the girls were playing). Then it was time to showered and went to the Mall.

We went to time out and they had a great time.

Later, we had dinner and did some shopping at Wal-Mart.

Fin de Semana / Weekend

Nuestro fin de semana fue bueno.

Viernes: No fuimos a la escuela ya que apenas estarían unas 3 horas y en realidad eso no ameritaba el levantarse a las 5:30 a.m Por lo tanto, las niñas y yo tuvimos un día muy relajado y cuando Pablo llegó nos trajo comida, así que fue mejor todavía.

Sábado: La mañana fue tranquila y la tarde la dedicamos a lavar y organizar el cuarto familiar (que siempre es el peor cuarto de la casa). Luego, a la iglesia y por último a comprar las meriendas de la escuela.

Domingo: Nuestro sueño se vio interrumpido debido a que se fue la electricidad y regreso a eso de las 8 am (horrible dormir sin el abanico). Cuando nos levantamos comenzamos a preparar el desayuno (las niñas pidieron hot dogs así que eso comimos) y luego a bañarnos y vestirnos para asistir al Festival del Café (actividad donde se elaboran recetas a base de café y para terminar hacen un desfile). La actividad estuvo chévere pero, fue agotador por que nosotros íbamos en una de las carrozas del desfile representando el banco en que Pablo trabaja. Pero, a pesar de todo tuvimos un buen fin de semana.

Our weekend was good.

Friday: We did not sent the girls to school since they would be there for just 3 hours and in reality that did not deserve to wake up at 5:30 am therefore, the girls and I we had a very relaxed day and when Pablo came back from work brought us food, so that was even better.

Saturday: The morning was tranquil and we dedicated the afternoon to clean and organize the family room (that is always the worst room of the house). Then, to church and finally to buy snacks for school.

Sunday: Our sleep was interrupted due to an electricity blackout, It didn't came back until 8 am (horrible to sleep without the fan). When we woke up we made breakfast (the girls asked for hot dogs so that we ate) and then to bathe and dress up to attend the Festival of the Coffee (activity where they show things made of coffee and at the end there is a parade). The activity was fun but also exhausting because we went in a float made by the bank in which Pablo works. But, in spite of all we had a good weekend.

Domingo, Lunes y Martes / Sunday, Monday and Tuesday

Domingo: Excelente día soleado, un cielo azul y una leve brisa. Todo lo necesario para disfrutar de una tarde de piscina. Sencillamente, un día sensacional en familia.

Lunes: Fue otro día maravilloso en la casa con la única diferencia de que no hubo piscina pero sí una limpieza masiva de ventanas (y aún faltan más). Al final del día estabamos extremadamente cansados pero valió la pena.

Martes: De vuelta a la rutina. Luego, del grandioso fin de semana el día fue maravilloso. Cuando las niñas salieron de clases fuimos a comer, luego hicimos algunas compras. Al llegar a nuestra casa los vecinitos estaban afuera corriendo bicicleta y allá fueron las niñas a divertirse y a quemar energías. Luego un gran baño, un poco de televisión, dibujar y a dormir. Quedaron rendidas.

Sunday: Excellent sunny day, a blue sky and a light breeze. All that is needed to enjoy an afternoon at the pool. Simply, a sensational day in family.

Monday: It was another marvelous day in the house with the only difference there was no pool but a massive window cleaning (and they are still more). In the end of the day we were extremely tired but it was worth it.

Tuesday: Return to the routine. After the magnificent weekend, the day was marvelous. After school we went to eat and bought some groceries. When we got back home the neighbors kids were riding their bicycles so our girls played with them and burned some more energy. Then a great bath, a little television, drawing and to sleep. They were exhausted.

We spend all afternoon at our backyard. The girls were playing and also helped us with paint around the house (pictures coming). It was a great day.

Sofia woke up at 7 but went back to sleep for another hour. At 8:30 Paola woke up and no more sleep for them. We tried to sleep a little but not much.

Again, our afternoon was spend at the backyard.

Daddy cleaned the ceiling in the girls bedroom.

And ended with washed and blow dry hair

It was a productive weekend.
