Random

Solo salimos a comprar helados.

After several days of going out to have fun it was time to stay in the comfort of our home. Therefore yesterday and today, we were at home. Yesterday, Pablo was all afternoon doing laundry (yep he did it) while I gave a fast cleaning to the house (that is to sweep and to mop, nothing more). While today we had thought to leave to take a walk but suddenly it began to thunder and later to rain, so the day was to vegetate, jajaja. We just went out to buy ice creams.

Corre / Run

Both girls are completely trained to go to the potty and our expenses in the purchase of diapers has descended considerably. They use diapers (in my opinion are a lot better than the "pullups" and besides you get more for the sqame price") for the siesta (not to many of those lately), during the night and when we go out. But, do not be alarmed because things have changed and already they use their panties to go out, yeahhhhhhhhhhh.

At the beginning it was for short periods of time but little by little it's been improving and we carry the portable toilets. On Sunday we had our first confrontation face to face with a public toilet. It was very funny to start running to arrive to the store's bath (wally, of course) at time just to find out that they were cleaning them, so we had to run to the bath inside the mall. It was an event in which my mom had to participate too.

Certainly, those small details make our days more adventurous and feel happy about our role of mothers.

Clima / Weather

Feliz Jueves

Annie

The climate is constantly changing here. Last week we had several days of rain but, this week is of pure heat. Simply, the heat is horrible. The girls have a "rash" product of the high fever that they had since some days ago and that combined with the heat has intensified my poor girls. I hope that soon there will be fresh days because the truth is that this seems pure summer (I do not want to think about how the days of summer will be).

Here some photos of these days.

Happy Thursday

This last few days have been quite hectic. Since last week I decided that it was good for the girls and for me to leave home daily and to leave the monotony. It is extremely pleasant since we have the opportunity to see my mom every day and the girls also enjoy the company of their cousins (occasionally they make us crazy with their shouting and playing loud but they enjoy it).

I am already buying gifts for Mother's Day (do not forget that a towel with the name of the person is a good alternative thus, please visit my Etsy store, ha, if you are interested to buy we'll be able to make a discount).

We still continue with more pending doctor's appointments nest we stop will be the neumologist and gastrologist. The appointment with the "ENT" yesterday was a success but, we still do not have an explanation of why Pablo spits blood sometimes so we will continue to find out what the other doctors say.

I need to decide if we should register the girls in pre kindergarten for the next school year or not. What do you think?

Take care
Annie

De Todo Un Poco / A Little Bit of Some Things

Annie

Recount of things that have happened in our home:

1. On February 13 it was a month since we begin the "potty training" (by third time) but, in this occasion is all a success and we can say that already the GIRLS ARE TRAINED, yesssss. In the only moment they use a diaper is at night (yes a diaper because I believe that is a lot more absorbent and besides at night we want to sleep not to change sheets, jaja). But, little by little we will remove that diaper. The truth is that it feels super well just to spend $10.00 on diapers (of course when you save money in something it always appears another expense but is a lot more easy).

2. These last cookies were the ones that come in a box and that you just add egg and butter. They are easy to do and it was fun to do them with the girls. But, Pablo did not ;iked their taste and the girls after doing them, do not even want to taste them (they are smart). In my opinion the cookies were not bad although I have to admit after being three days in the refrigerator they became hard as stone therefore they tasted a little bit better, ha.

3. In this week Pablo will be able to have his blood test, the CT Scan of the head and the stress test. So we expect that some time this week we can have all the results at hand and to have another appointment with the cardiologist.

In short (as it would say Pinky Dinky Doo, seems that I see a lot of Discovery Kids) I wish you a happy week filled of many blessings and beautiful things.

Affections

Monday, February 8, 2010

Annie

Let's see how things are going here, yesterday the girls were still with the nasal congestion and coughing (also with fever), all this began in on Saturday. Both days (Sunday and Monday) they woke up at 3:00 am but, the worst one was today because Sofía woke up trembling because of the fever. Quickly, I had her under water and rubbed some ice on her, then the famous fever suppository accompanied by Panadol and mommy went to sleep in the room with them. Even so they didn's fall asleep until 6:00 am and I already was super exhausted.

On the other hand there is Pablo, today we went to the doctor and the blood tests he had to measure the glucose in his blood came out well . The next step is to seek for a cardiologist so he can have a "stress test" (this test is because the EKG he had showed some missbeats and the doctor wants to know what happened) and a CT Scan of the head. If his discomforts and pains continue there's going to be other tests. Then I will tell you what happens.
