Fin de Semana / Weekend

Otro fin de semana grandioso, gracias a Dios. El viernes no hicimos nada en particular pero sábado y domingo fueron dos días activos. El sábado como de costumbre mientras Pablo trabaja yo me encargo de hacer algunas cosas en la casa. En la tarde fuimos a un cumpleaños y la pasamos divino. Domingo, realizamos algunas compras y luego fuimos a un parque infantil nuevo (es 45 minutos de nuestra casa en carro). Sencillamente un buen fin de semana.

Another magnificent weekend, thanks to God. Friday we did not do anything in particular but Saturday and Sunday were two very active days. On Saturday as usual while Pablo works I did some housework. In the afternoon we went to a birthday and we had a great time. Sunday, we did some shopping and then we went to a new playground (is 45 minutes from home bye car). Simply a good weekend.

Cita del Dentista / Dentist Appointment

El martes todos tuvimos nuestra cita en el dentista para limpieza. Las niñas se portaron muy bien a pesar de la espera de dos horas y media para que nos atendieran. Ninguno tiene caries y por supuesto, ambas niñas recibieron su cepillo de dientes nuevo de princesas (ambas seleccionaron a Bella, pero no se asusten es de diferente color). Así que volveremos en seis meses.

On Tuesday we had our appointment with the dentist for a cleaning. The girls behaved very well in spite of the wait of two and a half hours for our turn. None has decay and of course, both girls received a new princesses' toothbrush (both selected Belle, but of different color). We will return in six months.

CSN Review

I have been offered a chance to do a review for CSN, which I like because they have a variety of articles for home, office, home and holiday decor, kids, etc. Almost everyone in the blog world has heard of CSN by now. I want to buy modern dining room furniture. You know that one of the projects I have for my home is buying a new dinning set and of course at CSN I have the chance to check their huge selection. I have bought a few things from CSN with the highest quality and affordable prices.

Fin de Semana / Weekend

En algunos momentos no sé si el fin de semana es algo que quiero que llegue o no. Me explico, con mi esposo trabajando todos los días (incluyendo sábado) quedan unas tareas que es necesario realizar los sábados en la tarde o los domingos y esto hace que en muchas ocasiones tengamos demasiadas cosas para hacer. Pero, lo importante fue que logramos encontrar el tiempo y lo hicimos todo. Veamos que tal fueron las cosas:
Viernes: Rutina normal de la semana y luego en la noche cenamos en casa de mi hermana y estuvimos hasta tarde jugando Wii (este juego es una adicción,jaja).
Sábado: La mañana fue para realizar algunas tareas de limpieza, lavado de ropa y un poquito de mantenimiento en el patio. Luego en la tardecita fuimos al parque urbano.
Domingo: El día más ajetreado. Hicimos diversas cosas tales como lavar ropa, limpieza profunda de patio, arreglar unas losetas de la sala e intentar darle primeros auxilios a la nevera que parece estar diciendo: "lo lamento, pero yo no doy más y me iré con el 2011" y esto significaría la desgracia para nosotros por que en este preciso momento no podemos salir corriendo a comprar otra nevera. Y para terminar, nos fuimos al parque urbano nuevamente (gracias al que tuvo la idea de construir un lugar como este).

Sometimes I do not know if I want the weekend to arrive or not. Let me explain, with my husband working every day (including Saturday) there are some tasks that we need to do on Saturdays in the afternoon or Sundays, this means that sometimes we have many things to do. But, what is important is that we manage to find the time and we did it all.

Friday: Our daily normal routine and then in the night we had dinner at my sister's house and played Wii (this game is an addiction, haha).

Saturday: In the morning I cleaned the hose, some laundry and a little bit of patio maintenance. Then in the afternoon we went to the urban park.

Sunday: The most hectic day. We did diverse things such as laundry, deep cleaning of the patio, fix some floor tiles in the livingroom and tried to give first aids to the refrigerator that seems to be saying: "Im sorry, but I can not give more and I will go with the 2011" and this would signify a misfortune for us because at this I need moment we cannot go running to buy another refrigerator. And to finish, we went to the urban park again (thanks to the person who had the idea to build a place like this).

Atención / Attention

Todo padre siempre enfrenta retos con sus hijos. Ser padres no es una tarea fácil pero sí conlleva mucha responsabilidad y sacrificios. Yo adoro mis niñas con todas mis fuerzas y por supuesto, tenemos nuestros momentos difíciles. Por ejemplo, en las pasadas semanas se me ha hecho difícil con una de ellas por que al parecer es como si no escuchara cuando uno le habla (no, ella no es sorda simplemente prefiere ignorarme). Yo le digo que haga algo y se lo puedo decir más de tres veces y ella no me hace caso y definitivamente, eso hace que mi nivel de paciencia no sea muy tolerante.

Necesito ideas para lidiar con esta situación, por que no quiero que se convierta en algo que ella siga haciendo. Por favor, sus ideas son necesarias y urgentes (sí, así es mi nivel de desesperación).

Every father always faces challenges with their children. Being parents is not an easy task and it involves a lot of responsibility and sacrifices. I adore my girls with all my heart and of course, we have our difficult moments. For example, the last few weeks has been a bit difficult with one of them because apparently is as if she would not listen when we talk to her (no she is not deaf, she simply prefers to ignore me). I tell her to do something and I have to repeat it more than three times and she does not pay attention to me and finally that put to the test my levels of patience and tolerance.

I need ideas to fight with this situation, because I do not want this to become something that she might continue doing. Please, your ideas are necessary and urgent (yes, this is my level of desperation).

Actividades con poco Presupuesto / Low Budget Activities

Como muchas de ustedes en nuestro hogar subsistimos con un solo ingreso así que es importante tener diferente ideas que nos lleven a realizar variadas actividades con poco o ningún gasto. Así que estás serán algunas de mis ideas para realizar los fines de semana o durante el mes.

1. Realizar una receta en familia para la cena.

2. Leer un libro de interés para todos.

3. Realizar un compartir con amigos en la casa (todos los asistentes traerán algo a la reunión)

4. Una noche de cine en la casa (con pop corn, dulces y refresco).

5. Crear diversos jardines en el patio (esto será durante varias ocasiones).

6. Tener un almuerzo o cena en el patio de su casa (esto lo hemos hecho varias veces y nos encanta).

7. Ir al parque.

8. Colocar la piscina muchas más veces.

9. Ir a la playa.

10. Asistir a algún festival de pueblo

Estas son algunas de mis ideas, más adelante compartiré otras con ustedes.

As many of you in our home we subsist with a single income so it is important to have different ideas of various activities with little or no expense. So these are some of my ideas to carry out during the weekends or durnig the month.

1. Making a recipe in family for dinner.

2. Reading a book of interest of all.

3. Sharing with friends in the house (all the assistants will bring something to the meeting)

4. A night of movies in the house (with pop corn, candies and soft drinks).

5. Creating diverse gardens in the patio (this will be during several occasions).

6. Having lunch or dinner in the patio (we have done this several times and we love it).

7. Going to the park.

8. Set up the pool more often.

9. Go to the beach.

10. Attending some out of town festival.


These are some of my ideas, further on I will share others with you.

Maravilloso Fin de Semana / Amazing Weekend

Lo mejor es tener un fin de semana largo en el que se hagan tantas cosas. Es increíble que realizamos diversas tareas en el hogar, preparé diferentes comidas y ahora tengo algo en el refrigerador para otra ocasión, bordamos y hasta fuimos al nuevo parque urbano varias veces en el fin de semana. Simplemente, maravilloso.

The best of having a long weekend is being able to do many things. It is incredible that we completed several tasks at home, I prepared different foods and now I have something in the refrigerator for another occasion, we embroider and we even went to the new urban park several times in the weekend. Simply, marvelous.
