Nuestra Historia / Our Story Part 3

Finally, we apply to adopt with the government agency and we started to look for our documents. I still remember that December, a magical month for us. In a week we got all the documents and we went to deliver them. Upon arriving at the office the person responsible for adoption indicated us that before the holidays she would go to our home to visit us so we set up the date. We were very excited and we could not believe how fast things were going. Finally, we were clear with this decision and we were happy. After a week the day of our visit arrived and all was perfect so the following step was to wait for the aarival of our son or daughter. But, something occurred that changed our lives for ever (calm down, keep reading). As I said previously, it was December which means that in my work we were giving final exams and calculating averages. Suddenly, the director of my school went to seek me to my room because Pablo was calling me. Obviously, I was scared because he was never accustomed to call me at work. So I quickly responded to the telephone, he told me not to be worried because it was no bad news to the contrary he had some good news to give me. After that my heart begins to calm down a little when the tells me, we won a quantity of money in the lottery. Again, I did not know if to laugh or to cry but he indicated me that before he should make sure that the information were certain. Near three hours later (the most long in my life) he called me and confirmed me the information. This is how the miracle in our lives happened and we manage to obtain the money for the In Vitro treatment. We will always remember that Christmas of 2005 with a lot of love and happiness.
