Primer Campamento de Verano / First Summer Camp

El pasado lunes, 6 de junio mis "bebés" comenzaron en su primer campamento de verano. Esto no fue planificado con antelación simplemente, mi hermana me llamó la noche antes y me preguntó sí nos gustaría matricularlas. Primero yo estaba dudosa pero, Pablo me dijo que debíamos darle la oportunidad y obviamente al preguntarle a ellas dijeron que sí. Así que lunes temprano en la mañana estaban listas y entusiasmadas para comenzar. Es un gran cambio por que están desde las 8 de la mañana hasta las 3 de la tarde pero, vale la pena.

Last Monday, June 6th my "babies" began their first summer camp. This was not planned in advance, my sister called me the night before and asked us if we would like to register them. First I had my doubts but, Pablo told me that we should give them the opportunity and obviously when er asked them they said yes. So early Monday morning they were ready and enthusiastic to begin. Is a great change because they are from 8 in the morning to 3 in the afternoon but, is worth it.

9 - Cita en el oftálmologo (Paola salió con miopía leve)

Oftalmólogo / Ophtalmologist

Hoy las niñas tuvieron su cita anual en el oftalmólogo pediátrico. Paola presenta miopía leve pero, por el momento no requiere el uso de espejuelos mientras Sofia salió muy bien. El doctor ve a las niñas desde que tenían tres meses así que ya es como visitar a un familiar, jaja.

Gracias a Dios pudimos ir sin problemas a la cita por que durante el pasado mes lo único que hay es lluvia y más lluvia. Luego, fuimos a almorzar y a Wal-Mart. Después nos dedicamos a tener una tarde tranquila en nuestro hogar.

Today the girls had their annual appointment with the pediatric ophthalmologist. Paola presents light myopia but, for the moment she does not require the use of glasses while Sofia turned out well. The doctor have been seeing the girls since they were three months old so already is like visiting a relative, jaja.

Thanks to God we could go to the appointment without problems because during the last month there has been rain and more rain. Then, we went to have lunch and to Wal-Mart. Later we had a tranquil afternoon at home.

Preparándonos para la Graduación / Getting Ready for Graduation

Todavía el viernes 27 de mayo yo estaba indecisa de cómo iba a peinar a las niñas para su graduación la cual era ese domingo. Luego, esa tarde hablé con mi estilista para que me pintara el pelo y me hiciera unos destellos. Hablando con ella surge la idea de hacerle rizos a ambas niñas. Sábado temprano en la mañana llegamos al salón de belleza y comenzó el proceso. Obviamente, había que hacerle los rizos a ambas y secarme el pelo a mí por que lo que yo sabía que estaríamos varias horas allí y me llevé el juego Tetris para entretenerlas y meriendas. Gracias a Dios el tiempo allí pasó rápido.

Still on Friday May 27 I was undecided of what to do with the girls hair for their graduation which was that Sunday. Then, that afternoon I visited my stylist to make me some highligths. When I was talking with her she gave me the idea of making them curls. So, on early Saturday in the morning we arrive at the beauty parlor and began the process. We went to curl their hair and to blowdry mine. I knew that we would be there for several hoursand so I took the Tetris game to entertain them and some snacks. Thanks to God the time there passed quickly.
