Today we celebrate the Eve of the Three Kings Day. This is a tradition that we celebrate in Puerto Rico. Many people celebrate "promises" (canticles in praise to God) to give thank for the good things that were received during the year. During this day children go out to cut grass, put it in a box and place it under the Christmas tree. The Kings will collect that grass and feed it to their camels and in gratitude they leave gifts to the children. Today we went to cut grass with the girls following our traditions.
January 6 is the Three Kings Day and we are anxious to see the reaction of the girls when they open their gifts.

We told the girls that if they accept to take our picture and smile we were going to take them a ride on the train, haha, it works.
