Nuestra Semana

Esto es lo que yo llamo una semana ajetreada. Como esto es para mi uso repasaré que hicimos en la semana.

Lunes: El día comenzó bastante ajetreado porque nos levantamos un poquito tarde pero, todos llegaron a tiempo a su lugar. El resto de día fluyó con normalidad.

Martes: Al buscar las niñas en la escuela noté que Paola tenía fiebre. Rápido la llevé al laboratorio para hacerle un CBC y le enviamos el resultado al doctor por fax. EL diagnóstico fue viral por lo que debía tomar mucho líquido. Gracias a Dios y por primera vez, a pesar de estar enferma ella continuó comiendo lo que ayudó mucho.

Miércoles: Pablo llevó a Sofía a la escuela mientras Paola y yo nos preparábamos. El avisó en su trabajo que no iría y nos encaminamos al hospital con Paola bueno, Pablo la llevó al hospital mientras yo realizaba unas tareas de promoción del Colegio de las nenas. (La razón por la cual fuimos al hospital fue porque ella continuaba con la fiebre y para evitar la deshidratación).

Jueves: Solo un poco de fiebre para Paola. Pero el día fue bastante bueno.

Viernes: Las niñas salieron al mediodía y en la tarde fuimos a una reunión en el Colegio.

Nuestra Semana / Our Weekend

Bueno nuestra semana no ha tenido nada de espectacular, al contrario, hemos estado demasiado tranquilos.


Lunes: fue feriado


Martes: rutina normal de escuela.


Miércoles: las clases fueron suspendidas debido a la falta de agua. Sofía me dijo que los baños estaban bien sucios.


Jueves: la alarma del reloj no sonó a tiempo y por ende, perdimos el día de escuela.

Lo mejor fue que pude pasar todo el día con mis tesoros jugando, viendo televisión, leyendo, en fin, lo pasamos muy bien.

Hasta el momento mañana será un día normal de clases y aún no tenemos nada planificado para el fin de semana, así que ya veremos que ocurre.

Our week was not spectacular, on the contrary, we have been very tranquil.


Monday: it was holiday


Tuesday: normal routine of a school day.

Wednesday: the classes were suspended due to the lack of water. Sofía told me that the bathrooms were dirty.


Thursday: the alarm of the clock did not went on time and therefore, we lost the day of school.

The best of this was that I was able to spend all day with my treasures playing, watching television, reading, in short, we had a great time.

Up until now, tomorrow should be a normal school day and we still have not anything planned for the weekend, so will see how it goes.

Nuestra Semana / Our Week

Cosas realizadas durante esta semana:

Domingo - Limpieza en la casa y un super recogido en el cuarto familiar.

Lunes - En la mañana estuvimos trabajando con la limpieza de ventanas. Luego la tarde la pasamos en la casa de mis padres. (Ver fotos del 4 de julio aquí).

Martes - Diversión en el parque. (Fotos aquí)

Miércoles - Estamos en la búsqueda de una escuela para las niñas. Compramos algunos efectos escolares.

Jueves - Fuimos de tiendas con Pablo (continuamos comprando efectos escolares).

Viernes - Las niñas y yo continuamos con la búsqueda de escuela. Después estuvimos un rato en la casa antes de salir a donar la ropa que ya no usamos. En ese intermedio ellas se entretuvieron pegándose "stickers" en la cara y en papeles de colores. Cuando Pablo salió de trabajar nos llevó a cenar a Pizza Hut, rico.

También durante esta semana continuamos enseñandole diferentes cosas a las niñas para cuando vayan a Kindergarten.

Nos encontramos listos para el fin de semana y el cuál esperamos que sea uno lleno de mucha diversión.

Things we did during this week:

Sunday - House cleaning and a super clean up to the family room.

Monday - In the morning we were washing windows. Then in the afternoon we went to my parents house. (See photos of July 4th here).

Tuesday - Fun in the park. (Pictures here)

Wednesday - Looking for a school for the girls. We bought some school effects.

Thursday - Went shopping with Pablo (buying more school effects).

Friday - The girls and I continued our search of a school. Later we came back home for a while before leaving to donate the clothes that we no longer use. In that interval they were entertained putting "stickers" on their faces and on papers. After work, Pablo took us for dinner to Pizza Hut, yum.

Also during this week we continued teaching them different things before Kindergarten.

We are ready for the weekend which we hope it will be one full of a lot of fun.

Casi Una Semana / Almost A Week

A continuación voy a desglozar algunas de las cosas que han ocurrido en nuestro hogar desde el pasado 6 de febrero.

Domingo 6: Hubo percances con la tubería del fregadero (hubo que arreglarlo en el momento por que ya filtraba el agua al gabinete). También este día la comida se me quemó.

Lunes, martes y miércoles: Gracias a Dios fueron días extremadamente tranquilos.

Jueves 10: Sofia se cayó en el patio y se abrió la barbilla lo que requirió de 7 puntos. Fueron unos momentos horribles el ver como cosían el golpe y verla gritando, simplemente horrible.

Viernes 11: Nuestra guagua y único medio de transportación se daña. Hasta el día de hoy no tenemos ni idea de para cuándo volveremos a tenerla ya que estamos buscando cotizaciones para las piezas (la única cotización hasta el momento es de $300 y obviamente, no podemos costearlo).

Sábado 12: En la madrugada Paola despierta llorando con dolor de oídos y fiebre. Durante el día hubo mejoría pero no mucha.

Domingo 13: Las niñas salieron con mi mamá y mi sobrina, mientras Pablo y yo nos dedicamos a preparar los cupcakes para el siguiente día.

Lunes 14: No puedo decir que tuve el mejor ni el peor día de San Valentín pero, tampoco pude realizar las cosas que quería. Mi mamá me tuvo que llevar a la escuela de las nenas para que disfrutaran de su fiesta.

Martes 15: Mi hermana nos prestó su carro. Seguimos la búsqueda de las piezas para la guagua y llevamos a Paola al médico, el diagnóstico infección de gargantas y oído. Como ella no quiere tomarse los medicamentos hubo que recurrir a inyectar el antibiótico.

Miércoles y jueves: Mis niñas no pudieron a la escuela por falta de transportación.

En fin, esos han sido nuestros días.

I will tell you some of the things that have occurred in our home since last February 6.

Sunday 6: There was a problem with the plumbing of the sink (it had to be fixed at the moment because it had already filtered water to the cabinet). Also this day the food was burned.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday: Thanks to God those were extremely tranquil days.

Thursday 10: Sofia fell in the patio and her chin was opened which required of 7 stitches. Those were some horrible moments to see as they sewed the cut and to listen her screaming, just horrible.

Friday 11: Our minivan and only way of transportation is damaged. Still today we do not have an idea of when we will have it running again since we are still seeking for the parts(the only quotation we have up to now is of $300 and obviously, we cannot cost it).

Saturday 12: In the early morning Paola woke up crying because a pain in her ear and fever. During the day there was improvement but not a lot of.

Sunday 13: The girls left with my mom and my niece, while Pablo and I dedicate time to make cupcakes for the following day.

Monday 14: I cannot say that I had the best nor the the worst Valentine's day. I could not do the things that I wanted to do that day. My mom had to take us to school so the girls would be able to enjoy their Valentine's party.

Tuesday 15: My sister lent us her car. We continue the search for the minivan parts and we took Paola to the doctor, the diagnostic was infection of throat and ear. Since she does not want to take her medicines the only solution was to inject the antibiotic.

Wednesday and Thursday: My girls were not able to go school because the lack of transportation.

In short, those have been our days.
