Birthday Party for Thalia

Nuestro día fue estupendo ya que pasamos casi todo el día en la casa y a pesar de que estuvo lloviendo todo el día pudimos asistir a una fiesta de cumpleaños. Claro está, cuando la fiesta termino la lluvia era bastante pero, logramos salir. Las niñas pasaron un buen rato y eso definitivamente es lo más importante para nosotros.

Our day was stupendous since we spent almost all day at home and in spite of the fact that it was raining all day we were able to attend a birthday party. Like always, when the party ended it was raining very hard, still we managed to leave. The girls had a good time and that it the most important thing for us.

Detalles del Cumpleaños / Birthday Party Details

Durante casi dos semanas estuvo lloviendo muy fuerte lo que en un momento dado nos llevó a pensar que la fiesta tendría que ser cancelada. Pero, justamente el fin de semana del cumpleaños la lluvia cesó y con la bendición de nuestro Dios tuvimos el mejor día de fiesta.

El tema para este año fue de zebras pero, yo no quería utilizar el clásico negro, blanco y rosa por que me parecían colores muy sobrios para una fiesta infantil así que, decidí usar rosa, amarillo (estos son los colores favoritos de las niñas), anaranjado, verde lima y solo un poco de blanco y negro. Acá no se consiguen cosas de zebras para cumpleaños así que básicamente todo fue realizado por nosotros. Las niñas gozaron muchísimo y disfrutaron cada segundo de la fiesta al punto que ya decidieron el motivo para el próximo cumpleaños, pueden creerlo.

La fiesta comenzó a las 3 de la tarde y se extendió hasta casi las 10 de la noche, así que eso deja dicho que hicimos un buen trabajo. Las maestras de las nenas asistieron a la fiesta y quedaron encantadas. También cantaron en el karaoke y hasta me ayudaron a servir la comida, definitivamente las maestras de mis hijas son todo un éxito,jaja. De la escuelita también asistieron algunos compañeritos de clase y eso también ayudo a que las nenas estuviesen más felices.

En conclusión la fiesta quedó espectacular y todo el que asistió pasó un buen momento.

It rained for almost two weeks prior to the girl's birthday and I thought that the party would have to be canceled. But, exactly the weekend of the birthday the rain ceased and with the blessing of our God we had the best day for the celebration.

The theme for this year was zebras but, I did not want to use the white, black and pink because those colors were not very happy for a childlike party so, I decided to use pink, yellow (these are the favorite colors of the girls), orange, lime green and just a little white and black. I could not find zebra decorations for for birthday party so basically we had to make most of them. The girls had a lot of fun and enjoyed each second of theparty to the point that they have already decided the motive for the next birthday, can you believe it!

The party started at 3 o'clock in the afternoon and extended to almost 10 at night, so it means that we did a good work. The girl's teachers attended the party and they were delighted. Also they sang in the karaoke and even helped me to serve the food, definitely, my daughters teachers are a huge success, jaja. Some schoolmates also attended and that helped to make the girls happier.

In conclusion the party was spectacular and everyone had a good moment.
