Dijo Qué? / Say What?

Diariamente acostumbro preguntarle a las niñas si durmieron bien, pues el sábado hice lo mismo:
Yo: Sofia, dormistes mucho.
Ella: Ah, sí
Yo: Y por qué?
Ella: Pues por que la gente tiene que dormir
(que niña tan sensata)

Cuando estuvimos en Orlando yo compré unas figuras de Mickey y Minnie.
Sofia: Mami, Mickey tiene calzoncillos.
Yo: Ah
Paola: Pues claro, sí es nene.

Con este asunto del inicio de clases los pasados días han sido muy ocupados. Cada niña seleccionó un motivo diferente. Paola, tiene sus cosas de las Princesas de Disney mientras que Sofia, tiene a Tinkerbell.
Sofia: Mami, y tú de qué vas a comprar las cosas para la escuela
(Niñas, mami salió hace mucho tiempo de la escuela)

El otro día mientras yo me pintaba los labios Sofia me observaba. De repente me dice:
Sofia: Mami, dame un lipstick
Yo: Y por qué
Sofia: Pues para verme más bonita. (todo una diva en miniatura)

Ayer, estaba en un servi carro y no se por qué las niñas me preguntaron que si yo me había casado en un edificio que había al lado. Yo les contesté que no, que me había casado en una iglesia.
Paola: Y por que nosotras no estabamos en la iglesia.
Sofia: Pues por que nosotras estabamos con Dios en el cielo, verdad Mami.
Yo: Sí
Paola: Oh no, nosotras estabamos en nuestra guagua sentadas esperándolos.

Every day I ask the girls if they had a nice sleep, well on Saturday I did the same thing:
Me: Sofia, you slept a lot.
She: Oh, yes
Me: And why?
She: Because people has to sleep (that so sensible girl)

When we were at Orlando we bought Mickey and Minnie figurines .
Sofia: Mommy, Mickey has shorts.
Me: yes.
Paola: Of course, he is a boy.

With this matter of the back to school we all have been very busy. Each girl selected a different motive. Paola,has her things of the Disney Princesses while Sofia, has everythingTinkerbell.
Sofia: Mommy, and what character you will select for your back to school.
(Girls, mommy stopped going to school a long time ago)

The other day while was using lipstick Sofia was looking at me. Suddenly she said: Mommy, can you give me a lipstick
Me: And why
She: I want to look prettier.
(all diva, in miniature)

Yesterday, we were at a drive thru and the girls asked me if this was the building where I got married. I told them no this is not the place.
Paola: And why we were not in the church.
Sofia: Because we were with God in the sky, right Mommy.
Me: Yes

Paola: Oh no, we were in the minivan sitting in our carseats waiting for them.

Dijo Qué? / Say What?

Hace unas cuantas semanas le escondi algunos juguetes a las niñas pero, les dije que los había tirado a la basura. El domingo decidimos darles las cosas nuevamente y Paola esta eufórica y se viró hacia mí y me dijo: No lo vuelvas a hacer. Demás está decir que me reí y me reí hasta más no poder.

Ayer, mientras estaban en el patio con Pablo le dijeron:
Ambas: Papi, las niñas se portan bien y los niños mal.
Pablo: No todos los niños se portan mal.
Ambas: Oh sí, y tú eres niño y también te portas mal.
(Parece que tengo dos pequeñas feministas,jaja)

A few weeks back I took some of the girls toys and put them away in a closet because they won't pick them up and I told that I had thrown them to the trash. Sunday we decided to give them back the toys and Paola was very excited about it. after a while she looked at me and said "don't do this again. All I could do was laughed and I laughed until I couldn't any more.

Yesterday, while they were in the patio with Pablo they told him:
Both: Daddy, girls behave well and boys badly.
Pablo: Not all boys behave bad.
Both: Oh yes, and you are a boy so you are bahaving bad. (Seems that I have two small feminists, jaja)

Cosas que debemos recordar de las niñas:


1. No debemos olvidar que somos una familia (Pablo y yo fuimos a ver The Backup Plan mientras ellas veían Furry Vengeance con mi mamá, hermana y sobrinos).


2. Cómo te creció eso tanto si los míos están pequeños (ya saben de que hablo, verdad).


3. El otro día mientras estabamos de tiendas, Paola le dice a Sofia: que mucho coraje me da (al parecer mami dice mucho eso, ja).


4. Por que tenemos que comprarle regalos a mamá si ya te compramos a tí.

Things to remember about the girls:

1.We should not forget that we are a family (Pablo and I we went to see The Backup Plan while they saw Furry Vengeance with my mom, sister and their cousins).

2.How did those grew so much if mine are small (you know what I am talking about).

3.The other day while we were at the mall, Paola tells Sofia: "this makes me very angry" (apparently mommy says that a lot, ha).

4.Why do we have to buy gifts for grandma if we have already bought some for you.
