First Week of Summer Recap!!!!

We kicked our first week of summer vacations.

Monday: Eye dr. appointment (it went very well for both girls)

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: We stayed home all day. My girls are enjoying the late bedtime and of course, they slept in every single morning. But, I don't care because they woke up at 5:30 am every morning of school. During those days I organized their closest and drawers, quick cleaning around the house and cleaned all the drawers of my bedroom. Also, we enjoyed some games, tv shows together, talked and lots of kisses and hugs. I'm also planning the decoration for my classroom in August (can't you believe that).

Friday: We went to school because they had a playdate with Principal niece. They played for four hours and stilled wanted more. Tonight, we had a mommy and girls mani and pedi time.

Of course was a lazy week but at least we enjoyed it. Let's see what do we do for the weekend because we don't have any plans yet.

Monday!!!

We had their eye appointment. It went really good for Sofia. But Paola still have a little bit of myopia (in spanish is miopia) but he is not concerned because if she is sitting in front there is a little chance to improve it. So, he gave us a medical certificate to bring to school like the past two years.

Now, until another year.

Weekend!!

It was a low weekend. On Saturday, we decided just to stayed home and no work, ha.

Sunday: quick cleaning around the house but started a deep cleaning to the girls bedroom. Actually, they decided that we changed their twin beds to bunkbeds again. I really like the extra space they have but I'm a little concerned about earthquakes. Anyway, now I need to organize the drawers and closet.

Day #1 Vacations!!!!

Ok, yesterday was my first day of vacation (May 30, 2014you know for the records). Pablo has worked so the girls and I decided to had a lazy day. Believe me, we didn't moves a muscle. It was the best day. Our day consists in slept in, ate, talked, played, took a bath, watched t.v., talked, played and the same thing all day.

Last day of work!!!

Yesterday was my last day of school. It was a long morning because we finished all the paperwork on Wednesday. Then we ate a yummy lunch. The menu included greek rice, chicken breast with a yummy sauce, potatoes salad, lettuce and tomatoes, vanilla dessert and coke.

I'm so glad that everything is done and now let's have a fun summer with my girls.

Tuesday!!!!

Another day passed filled with lots of papers, packing, registration, and the list goes on. But the best part is that I have two more days since my vacations begins but who's counting?

Memorial Weekend!!!

We had a great weekend.

Saturday: We stayed home and relax cause we need it. Here is my precious Anna!!!

Sunday: It was cleaning and laundry day. We moved the hose to the house and cleaned the living and dinning room. It smells so fresh and clean. After dinner we bought a caramel sundae for me and had ice cream cones for Pablo and the girls for free, yay me.

Monday: We woke up at 11:00 am, had brunch and both girls were anxious to bought some clothes with the money they collect from the tooth fairy so, to the mall we went.

Now I'm looking forward to my last three days of work and hello summer vacations. Can't wait!!!!!

Third tooth for Sofia!

On Mother's Day Sofia lost her third tooth. It was a surprise and a great way to end my day.

May 11, 2014. Before Mother's Day!!!

One afternoon after school (well, after I finished my work day) we went to the park.

My nephew birthday party. It was at the theater. We saw spiderman, played and sang happy birthday. It was our first birthday at the movies.

Kindergarten graduation!! My girls were in charged of the school flag. They did a great job.

After the graduation we bought some things for the Sixth graders graduation the next day. Here are my girls (that's my niece). Sofía was so happy to travel in a carseat, ha!

Yesterday was the other graduation at school. When we finished our work day Veronica decided to bought some Icee's so, checked my barefoot niece. She is a crazy girl, ha!!

Almost done with my recaps post, just need to post about Sofía third tooth.

Last Day of School for the girls!!!!

Last week (May 14) was the last day of school for the girls. I had a little party during the morning for my second grade students and during the afternoon we enjoyed the Awards Ceremony for all the students. Both girls received award certificate for leadership, participation, cooperation and excellence award. Both girls ended second grade with 99%. We are so proud of them.

Another Modeling Activity!!

Last week (May 9) both girls participated at our local shopping modeling clothes from of the stores. They changed three times their clothes and did an excellent job. It was also the first time they model without their teacher.

We are so proud of them.

May 4, 2014!!

I was recognized by our town authorities in honor of teachers appreciation week. It was my first recognition in six years of work. I was.si happy. Pablo and the girls were there with me.

Thanks God for that experience.

Little Models!!!

Yesterday the girls had their comeback to modeling. It was a great night. They model clothes from Children's Place and at the end used their tshirt from the academy with a tutus and a hat with recycled materials.

It was a happy night for them.
