Tranquilo Día / Relax Day

Hoy fue un día sumamente tranquilo (gracias a Dios). Para comenzar estuvimos durmiendo pasadas las 9:30 a.m., increíble todos pudimos dormir hasta tarde (bueno teniendo hijos eso es tarde ahora antes de tener hijos para Pablo y para mí eso era la madrugada,jajaja, como cambian los tiempos). Después de desayunar las niñas vieron un poco de televisión mientras Pablo leía el periódico y yo organizaba los productos AVON. Luego nos dimos un baño y a media tarde salimos a comprar pañales. De una caja que solíamos comprar en Sam's decidimos comprar solo un paquete pequeño, la razón pues que estamos nuevamente en el entrenamiento para dejar los pañales. Así que aunque puede ser que tengamos que comprar otro paquete el próximo fin de semana lo ideal es no tener muchos para cuando finalicemos el proceso. Hasta el momento todo sigue bien con el entrenamiento así que esperamos lograrlo pronto.

Que les parece el nuevo encabezamiento y los colores que tenemos ahora. La creatividad del encabezamiento se la debemos a mi querido esposo. Gracias cariño por tu excelente trabajo.

Today was an extremely tranquil day (thanks God). First we slept past 9:30 am, incredible we all could sleep until late (well, when you have children that is late, before having children we called that early morning, jajaja, time changes). After having breakfast the girls saw a little television while Pablo read the newspaper and I organized the AVON products . Then we showered and halfway through the afternoon we went out to buy diapers. We were used to buying the huge box of diapers in Sam' s but we decided to buy just a small package, the reason is that we are again in the training to end the diapers era. Although there is a big chance that we must buy another package the next weekend . the whole idea is not to have many by the time we finalize the process. Up to now all continues well with the training so we expect to achieve it soon.

What do you think about our new header and the new colors . The creativity of the title was my darling husband's inspiration. Thanks honey for your excellent work.

Entrenamiento para el baño Parte 2 / Potty Training Part 2

Nuevamente retomé el entrenamiento con las niñas (habíamos comenzado en mayo ver aquí). Yo pienso que anteriormente el fracaso en el proceso fue mío por tal vez no querer lidiar con el trabajo pero ahora todo es diferente. En esta ocasión no estoy sola ya que Pablo está de vacaciones y ambos realizamos el proceso y sin yo abandonarlo para cocinar o hacer alguna tarea.

Comenzamos el pasado miércoles y la verdad hasta el momento todo ha sido un exito. El miércoles ambas niñas estuvieron en panties y aunque no tuvieron ningún accidente tampoco hicieron uso del inodoro (solo realizaron sus necesidades en el pañal de entrenamiento que se les colocó para la siesta). Fue un buen comienzo. El jueves, se resistieron un poquito al uso de panties pero, bueno nada con lo que no hubiesemos podido trabajar.

Sin embargo, hoy viernes fue el día fabuloso especialmente para Sofia. Orinó e hizo caca en el inodoro. Solo tuvo un accidente en el día. Tan solo había que ver la cara de alegría de ella cuando lo hizo. Fue un momento de besos y abrazos por parte de todos (incluyendo a Paola). Pero, Paola por otro lado, tampoco quiso usar panties pero, usó pañales de entrenamiento (con la idea de que son panties, un pequeño truquito) aunque sí está diciendo que quiere sentarse en el inodoro también, cosa que le permitimos aunque no haga nada.

Estamos muy feliz con lo que hemos logrado hasta el momento y sabemos que todo irá bien.

Again I took up the process of the potty training with the girls (we started in May see here). I think that the previous time did not work because of me, I was not really hard into the process and perhaps I did not want to go thru all that work but now is all different. In this occasion I am not alone since Pablo is on vacation and we both can carry out the process and not abandon it to cook or to do some other task.

We began last Wednesday and the truth up to now all has been great. On Wednesday both girls were in panties and although they had no accident neither they used the toilet they only used the pull ups for nap). It was a good beginning. Thursday, they resisted a little bit to using panites but, we worked with the situation.

Nevertheless, today was a fabulous day specially because of Sofia. She urinated and did poop in the toilet. Only one accident during the day. She was so happy. It was a great moment and we kissed and huged her (including Paola). Meanwhile, Paola on the other hand, did not want to use the panties but used pull ups (with the idea that are panties, just a little trick) although she keeps saying that she wants to seat on the toilet too, we let her do it although she do not do anything.

We are very happy with what we have achieved up to now and we know that all will go well.

Puerto Rico (Part 1)

Quiero enseñarles algunos lugares de mi islita. Como Pablo está de vacaciones se siente turista en su propio país jaja. Por el momento hemos sacado fotos de lugares cerca de nuestro hogar y que son pueblos visitados frecuentemente por nosotros. Las fotos son de las plazas públicas, casas alcaldías y cualquier otro lugar que se pueda retratar en ese pueblo. Quedénse pendientes por que tengo más lugares para enseñarles.

Qué lección aprendistes en el primer año de vida de tus hijos? /What is the biggest lesson that you have learned in your multiples first year of life?

Aprendí que lo más importante era confiar en mí misma y en mis instintos. Ser creativa al momento de estar sola y darle mucha atención a ambas. Mi fe en Dios me ayudó a salir adelante y lograr cada día ser una mejor madre. Tener a mi lado un gran esposo que me ayudó siempre y que juntos hacíamos y hacemos el mejor equipo.

I learned that the most important thing was to trust in myself and in my instincts. Being creative everytime I was alone and give a lot of attention to both girls. My faith in God helped me to do well and to achieve each day the goal of being a better mother. Mi Cumpleaños / My Birthday

Hoy celebre dos o tres años de vida,jajaja (no sean curiosas no les diré mi edad, solo imaginensela). Tuve un día muy feliz y tranquilo. Nuestros planes eran salir de paseo por nuestra islita pero, lamentablemente estuvo lloviendo en el área para la cual yo quería ir, así que nos limitamos a hacer unas compras (dicho sea de paso ese es mi mejor regalo por que a mí me encanta ir de compras). Gracias a Dios, pasé un buen cumpleaños.

Today I celebrated two or three years of life, jajaja (don't be curious, I will not tell you my age, alone just imagine to). I had a tranquil and very happy day. Our plans were make a trip but sadly it was raining in the area where I wanted to go, so we got limited to do some purchases (by the way that was yhe best gift because I love to go shopping). Thanks to God, I had a good birthday.
