For some time my husband was having pain in the left groin. After visiting various doctors the diagnosis was a hernia in that area. So he visited the surgeon and decided to be operated so last Monday, May 2nd we went to the hospital for his operation. The surgery was good but, the wait in the hospital was horrible. We arrived at 6:30 in the morning and an hour later they called him for preparations. While I watched all kinds of boring television programs in the waiting room, he was waiting for his turn. So it happened that the surgery started at 1:30 in the afternoon. The surgery was short but, the boy needed to urinate (pardon for being so explicit) but that hapened approximately at 8:30 at night (yes you read well). Which means we waited in the hospital 13 long and eternal hours. Now we just need to visit the doctor's office so he can remove the "clips" (let me tell you that he complains because they put him 7 little "clips" and when I had my cesarean I had 32, wimpy men, jaja).

I am glad he is doing okay. I hate Waiting like that, what a long day for you. I like your comment about him being wimpy :) If they only knew what it was like to go through pregnancy and childbirth!

Oh wow! hoping your husband is recovering nicely.
My dad had hernia surgery back when I was younger...I remember the recovery time then.

That stinks about the long wait...

So glad to hear all went well.
I know what you mean. PJ can hurt his ankle or back and I want to say, Um, 2 c-sections!
