In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day to take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
My question is:
What do you do when your husband takes the kids out and you are home alone?
My response:
I take advantage of this break to take a long shower without interruptions. And sometimes I even have time to watch some tv (NO Discovery Kids,ha)
Happy Friday and enjoy the weekend.

Sad but true I can't remember the last time this happened...

I take a nice hot shower, too. It's the only time I get to take one without the bathroom door constantly opening and all the nice hot steam getting out. :)
I sometimes take a nap, too, but almost always try to clean up some of the mess.
Have a great weekend! :)

I love to read so I catch up on a book I have started!
We don't have kids yet so when hubby is out or working, I do one of my many hobbies.

I LOVE it when he does this!! I just veg out at home!!
All my kids are grown, but when my husband and his buddies go fishing, I read and/or stay up all night watching tv.
I have had a rare moment like this and just starred at the wall... no one asking me anything. A complete tune-out. But, I second the shower idea. Shaving my legs uninterrupted would be nice.
hmmmm... I think that has only happened to me once or twice in my married life, but.... on those occassions, I have done the same or read a book without interruptions. ahhhhhh....
When my children were young I would use that time to get things done around the house or I would take me time and go shopping or visit a friend.

We don't have any kids yet. When my husband goes out, and I'm alone I watch all the shows on my DVR he refuses to watch.
I watch reruns on tv and eat snacks that I don't want my girls to eat!
Happy Friday!
That sounds amazing right now! A long hot shower! I may go for a bath, though... :) Enjoy your weekend.
We don't have any kids, but sometimes I think my boyfriend acts like one! When he is away I like to spend time working on my blog.

LOL! That's never happened!
I usully have to clean up or do some laundry. Sometimes and not very often I take a quick nap or try to read a book.
Typically when my hubby takes the boys out I am working on laundry, blogging, watching things I recorded on the DVR and knit. All things that I am not usually able to do with the kids here.
Work.....
Have a great day!

I wish dh would do this sometime. Right now if he did that. I might stand shock still in the room just staring.
rarely happens over here because of the hours tom works, but if that were to happen I would sadly probably take a nap, and then race around the house trying to get as much stuff done as I could without interruptions! And then if I still had some time, a glass of wine and uninterrupted computer time : )
Long hot showers are my favorite too :) I am trying to remember the last time I had this LOL.
My kids are older now, but I used to wonder what the heck they were up to. ;) And then I would cook (a passion) or clean (a necessary evil).
