Agenda de Navidad / Christmas Agenda

Las tareas asignadas para esta semana eran:

1. Termina las compras relacionadas con el Día de Acción de Gracias (aunque no sea en tu casa seguro llevarás algo al lugar donde se reunirán) así que compra esta semana. - Listo

2. Limpieza - Tendremos varios aspectos a trabajar:

a. Mantén las áreas ya trabajadas limpias y organizadas. - Listo

b. Limpia las ventanas aunque sea por dentro. - Pendiente, hubo varios inconvenientes esta semana

c. Limpia la entrada principal a tu casa (nada más desagradable que el frente de una casa sucio) y la terraza. - Listo

3. Organización: Sí aún no has regalado las cosas que sacastes de la limpieza es momento de donarlas (necesitamos que todo luzca impecable) - Pendiente por que mi licencia de conducir expiró hace casi cuatro meses y hoy fue que la pude renovar. Pero, en los próximos días saldrá todo.

4. Comienza a decorar tu casa - ya hemos trabajado bastante así que es tiempo de colocar nuestros adornos y comenzar a sentir el espíritu navideño. No olvides poner música de Navidad para que te entusiasmes. - LISTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO esta es la mejor parte.

5. Opcional: Pero sí tienes alguna pared que le quisieras cambiar el color en algún lugar de la casa para darle ese toque de renovación hazlo ahora. - No sabemos si quisiéramos pintar.

Tareas para la próxima semana son:

Luego de tanto trabajo, está semana será más relajada. Lo primordial es no excederse en trabajos para poder disfrutar del Día de Acción de Gracias.

1. Mantén la casa limpia (hemos invertido mucho tiempo y esfuerzo y no queremos que tirar todo por la borda).

2. Hornea galletas o prepara algún postre para la cena de Acción de Gracias.

3. Finaliza las decoraciones de Navidad y enciende las luces navideñas durante esta semana.

4. Prepara y llena las tarjetas navideñas.

5. Dedícate tiempo para tí. Realizáte una manicura y pedicura (esto lo puedes hacer tú misma), sécate el pelo con la secadora de mano, dáte un baño de agua tibia con burbujas (esto te relajará), en fin, todo lo que elimine de tu cuerpo el "stress".

Listo, ya estamos encaminadas a la primera celebración de esta época festiva. Disfruta en familia.

1.Finish purchasing all related to the thanksgiving Day (even if it is not in your house you should bring something to the place where you will meet) so buy it this week. - Done

2. Cleaning - we will have various places to work with:

A. Keep the areas completed clean and organize. - Done


B. Clean the windows at least on the inside. - Working with this tomorrow (sorry, no time this week)


C. Clean the main entrance of your house (it is very unpleasant to find the front of a house dirty) and the terrace. - Done

3. Organization: If you have not yet given away the things that were discarded before is time to donate them (we need that evreything looks impeccable) - During this days I will send all the stuffs.

4. Begin decorating your house - already we have worked enough so is time to place our decorations and to start to feel the Christmas spirit. Do not forget to play Christmas music to get you on the mood. - DONE and I'm so happy.

5. Optional: But if you have some walls that you wish to change the color to give a sense of renewal, the time is now. - Just thinking of doing it or not.

Tasks for is week are:

After so much work, this week will be more relaxed. The fundamental thing is not to be overwhelmed with work so you'll be able to enjoy thanksgiving Day.

1. Keep the house clean (we have invested a lot of time and effort and we do not want that to be thrown away).

2. Bake cppkies or prepare some dessert for the thanksgiving supper.

3. Finish the Christmas decorations and turn on the Christmas lights during this week.
4. It prepare and fill the Christmas cards.

5. Dedicate some time on yourself. You can have a manicure and pedicure (you can do it yourself), blowdry your hair, have a bath with warm water and bubbles (this will relax you), in short, anything to eliminate of your body the "stress".

We are ready, on our way to celebrate the first festicity of the season. Enjoy it in family.

Martes Negro / Black Tuesday

Se me ocurrió una idea que me interesa compartir con ustedes para saber cuántas de ustedes desean unirse a mí. La economía está difícil para todos por eso se me ocurrió hacer el Martes Negro. Esto consiste en hacer un "giveaway" ese día en cada blog para que podamos tener otras opciones de regalos para la Navidad. El regalo no tiene que ser nada costoso y mucho menos de diseñadores. Puede ser un regalo para niña, niño o adultos, lo mismo puede ser algo que ustedes hagan o que sea algún producto apto para un regalo (ejemplo: adorno de Navidad, toallas, productos AVON, etc.). Creo que es una buena idea y podríamos hacerla un rotundo éxito.

Yo colocaré a "Mr. Linky" mañana Martes y ustedes podrán anotar el "giveaway" que tendrán aquí. El giveaway se efectuará el Martes, 24 de noviembre de 2009. Ustedes determinarán la hora en que lo harán. La razón por la cual es ese día es para evitar que podamos disfrutar el resto de la semana y festejar en familia.

I have an idea that I wish to share with all of you and find out how many will want to join me. The economy is difficult for all therefore I'm planning on doing Black Tuesday. It consists of doing a "giveaway" on that day in each blog so we all can have other gifts options for Christmas. The gift does not have be expensive and much less of designers. It can be a gift for girl, boy or adult, it can be something that you do or something perfect for a gift (example: Christmas decorations, towels, AVON products , etc.). I believe that it is a good idea and we could be able to do it a completly success.

I will place a "Mr. Linky" tomorrow tuesday and you will be able to post the "giveaway" that you will have here. The giveaway will be performed Tuesday, November 24, 2009. You will determine the hour in which you will do it. The reason by which is that day is let the remainder of the week to celebrate in family.

Llegó el viernes y con el las diferentes actividades que he realizado con las nenas durante la semana. Estos días fueron de mucho trabajo ya que hicimos algunas tareas en los cuadernos, contamos, realizamos un libro para contar y también tuvimos tiempo para hacer un pavo pero usando nuestra mano. También estamos trabajando con la escritura, en fin, muchas cosas.

Espero que disfruten del fin de semana.

It's Friday time to show the activities that I have done with the girls during the week. These days we had a lot of do, we worked on the notebooks, we practiced counting, we made a book with numbers and we even had time for do a turkey using our hands. We also were working with the writing, in short, many things.

Las tareas de esta semana eran:

1. Planifica la comida de Acción de Gracias (verifica sí será en tú casa o pregunta que debes llevar sí es en algún otro lugar). No Aplica: No será en mi casa (me libre de esta,jaja)

2. Mantén la casa limpia y organizada (especialmente las áreas dónde ya trabajastes). - Listo (después de tanto trabajo no creo que sea justo para mí volver a pasar el mismo trabajo).

3. Limpieza y Organización: Para esta semana tendremos varios trabajos de limpieza pero, no te desanimes son pequeños. Trabajaremos con la alacena, la nevera,los baños y sí tienes cuarto de huéspedes. - Listo

4. Continúa con las compras de regalos y ropa para las fiestas Navideñas - Sigo trabajando en esta área por que la idea es hacerlo poco a poco.

Hasta el momento hemos realizado muchas cosas pero, aún nos faltan algunas pero, animo que estamos a tiempo y lo mejor de todo es que hemos ido trabajando poco a poco. Cuando nuestras amistades comiencen a sentir la presión de que la Navidad está encima y aún tienen muchas cosas por hacer, nosotras estaremos muy tranquilas y relajadas por haber hecho todo con tiempo.

The tasks of this week were:

1. Plans for the thanksgiving dinner (if it is not at your house ask if you should bring something). Does not Apply: Will not be in my house (I'm free of this one, hahaha)

2. Keep the house clean and organized (especially the areas that you already worked with). - Ready (after so much work I do not it is fair for me to do the same work again).

3. Cleaning and Organization: For this week we will have various works of cleaning but, do not discourage, they are small. We will work with the closet, the refrigerator, the baths and, if you have one, the guest room. - Ready

4. Continue with the purchasing of gifts and clothes for Christmas - I am still working in this area because the idea is to do it step by step.

Up to now we have been doing many things but, there is still some work to do. You have to feel good because we are on time and the best of all is that we have been working little by little. When our friends start to feel the pressure that Christmas is upon them and they still have many things to do, we will be very tranquil and relaxed because we have been doing our tasks on time.

Tasks for the next week:

Pura Diversión / Just Fun - Wordfull Wednesday

Ultimamente los momentos de pura diversión para mis niñas es brincar en su casita de brincos y bailar en mi cama. Al menos me aseguro que puedan tener una siesta después de gastar tanta energía.

Lately the time of pure fun for my girls is jumping in their little bouncing house and dancing on my bed. At least I make sure that they can have a nap after spending so much energy.

Primera Visita al Dentista / First Appointment to the Dentist

El pasado 20 de octubre mis niñas tuvieron su primera cita en el dentista. En esta ocasión no tuvimos ningún inconveniente con el plan médico pero, no fue color de rosa la visita. Como siempre yo les dí un poquito de sicología con relación a la visita y que el Doctor revisaría sus dientes, y todo el bla,bla,bla que uno les dice. Pues todo fue bien hasta que les tocó el turno de sentarse en la silla. Comenzó el llanto y el decir que no se sentarían. Gracias a Dios el dentista es excelente y supo manejar la situación con ellas (él tiene tres niños así que sabe lo que es esto). En definitiva, no pudieron hacerles la limpieza pero al menos, él pudo ver que no tenían caries y que Sofía ya tenía todos sus dientes mientras que Paola, estaba en ese momento despuntando las muelas.

Pero, aún del llanto que tuvieron el Doctor les regalo un hermoso cepillo de dientes de las princesas de Disney (él sí sabe ganarse a los niños), y ellas estaban emocionadas con su nuevo cepillo. Ahora, tendremos que esperar un poco para hacer la limpieza. Pero, la recomendación que nos dió de continuar llevando a las niñas a nuestras citas con él de manera que le pierdan el miedo así que mañana irán conmigo y verán mientras me realizan un pequeño trabajito en mis dientes pero poco a poco se llega muy lejos.

On October 20th my girls had their first appointment with the dentist. In this occasion we had no problem with the medical plan but not everything was this easy. As usual I had to use some psychology before the visit, told them about the dentist and what was going to happen in the office. Therefore all went well until it was their turn to seat down on the chair. They started crying and refused to sit down. Thanks God the dentist is excellent and knew haw to handle the situation with them (he has three children of his own so he knows what to do). At the end, he could not complete the cleaning but at least, he was able to see that they did not have ant tooth decay and that Sofía already had all her teeth while Paola still misses a couple of molars.

Although they were crying, the Doctor gave them a beautiful Disney princess toothbrush (he knows how to win children confidence). They were excited with their new brush. Now, we will have to wait a little to do the cleaning. But, the recommendation he gave us was to continue taking the girls to our appointments with him so they will start to lose fear, so tomorrow they will go with me to my appointment and see while the dentist works on my teeth, step by step we can get very far.

Nuestras Tareas Escolares / Our School Tasks

Según les había mencionado anteriormente, los viernes son dedicados a las diferentes tareas escolares que realizan mis niñas. Aquí les comparto las fotos de los trabajos que realizamos durante el tiempo que estuve sin computadora.

Oficialmente, ya estamos trabajando con la letra D. Muchos pensarán solo por la letra D, pues sí, recuerden que apenas ellas tienen 3 años y no quiero agobiarlas demasiado por que después cuando lleguen a la escuela estarán cansadas y por otro lado, lo importante es que reconozcan e identifiquen las letras en cualquier lugar y que no sea algo memorizado.

Like I said on an earlier post on Fridays i will write about the different school tasks I do with my girls. Here I share some photos of what we have been doing during the time that I was without the computer.

We are officially working with the letter D. Many will think "still on letter D?", well yes, remember that they are 3 years old and I do not want to burden them too much because later when they arrive to school they will be tired and on the other hand, what is important is that they recognize and identify the letters in any place and not something just memorized.
