Duda / Doubt

For several months now, the idea of a change is in my head but, is not a change of image but of country. I understand that the economy and other things are difficult everwhere but anyway, I believe that a person should fight for what it wants. Here, the economy is extremely hard and the only ones who receive "benefits" are certain group of the population that let me tell you they are very healthy, they dress with fashionable clothes and the women have some manicures and some "looks" to envy them. Believe me if I were the responsible of controlling that type of laws I would make many changes but, let's continue with my thing. In short, my change as I told you could imply a change of country. Can someone offer me information on the places of where we could live. In my case (ironic because although I occasionally make some mistakes) I understand two languages and I can handle the situation but, i'm worried about the educational system for the girls, any suggestions?.

If you want, please send your suggestions to my e-mail.

Where do you want to go? The states are nice, but it is all in what you put into it...Although, I would love to have you as a neighbor...
Many prayers will be lifted for you...email me if you want to discuss further. I am always here.
Big HUG!!!

Wow, huge decision. I will be praying for you to get some guidance. I live in the states and I love it, but as with any new place it can take some major adjusting.

P.S. Love the new layout!

Thinking of you, Annie.
The states are nice...not the same as other places..but you make the best of what you have. FLorida is definitely not the state to move to right now...they are still in recession...I am in Texas. It's nice here, cost of living is fairly inexpensive..but we are looking for an increase in fresh meats and produce, soon. So, I don't know how that will effect us all.

Interesting decision you have on your hands! It's scary, but could be an exciting adventure for your family too. I don't have any advice...I have never lived anywhere else. I will be praying for you and your family as you make decisions though!

Annie, I hope you find some clarity. I always tell my husband that I am willing to move anywhere - anywhere where he has a job. It seems cost of living is less down south, up here near NYC it's high - BUT, you can make more money too. Next time we move I will definitely make sure we move to a great school district. If you look on realtor.com for example, they'll show you the school ratings near a property.
I wish you the best of luck! HUGS!

Wow, Annie. I will be sending prayers your way as you think about this big decision.

I think that you'll do great wherever you end up. When you have a great family surrounding you, you can eventually make any new place "home".

Thinking of you...

I'm sorry that you're thinking of having to make a change like this, but I can understand what you are saying.

As far as where to go, I don't think I can offer much help. I don't think our Canadian winters would be a good way to ease out of your warm climate.

Been thinking about you after I read this post. I know that stirring feeling inside when you want a change. You know where I loved...Omaha, Nebraska! My parents lived there for 7 years and I loved to visit there, summer and winter. Though it snows in the winter and is humid in the summer, I thought the people were so friendly. I felt my parents were well-taken care of by their new friends. It has been another 7 years since they moved back to California so I don't know what it is like now, but back then I really liked it there. Best of luck!
