Nuestra Historia / Our Story Part 1

Check translation below.

When Pablo and I got married in 1999 we decided that we would wait two years before having children. Upon passing those two years we did not yet felt that motivation and we continued waiting. In 2004 the history changed and we began our road toward paternity. After visiting diverse gynecologists (thing that is nothing easy) I arrived at the Dr. that years before was recommended to me. After several questions and tests we arrived to the diagnosis of infertility. The following step was a specialist in fertility. At the beginning of 2005 we decide to get anappointment with the specialist. There were more exams for the two of us and finally the diagnosis that indicated that to be able to become parents we should get an In Vitro treatment. Up to there everthing was ok until they indicated us the quantity of money that we should pay. I will never forget the conversations we had and we asked ourselves how we would obtain that quantity of money. I remember that at that time I was still working as a teacher and the following day when I was at school my coworkers told me not to worry about the money because it would arrive and that they would help me. So we began to coordinate bake sales of biscuits, drawings, BINGO HALLS, in short, we did all we could but, sadly that bank account never went up to the contrary it seemed to disappear. Is then where the frustration arrives and desperation. It was sad to see in the news women that did damage to their children while we desired with all our forces to have one.
