Ella y Paola estaban conmigo en la sala y mientras yo hablaba por teléfono ellas jugaban. Pero, se aburrieron de jugar con sus cosas y se fueron a brincar a los sillones de la sala. Así que yo para evitar un accidente decidí llevarlas a su cuarto y regresé a la sala. En cuestión de minutos comienzo a escuchar como si rompieran papeles y decido verificar qué hacían ellas.

Sorpresa, Ana Sofia se había trepado al techo de la casita y había sacado todas las calcomanías con motivo de Princesas que yo tenía en la pared, mientras que Ana Paola estaba jugando con las calcomanías abajo. Mi mamá (que era la persona con la cuál yo hablaba por teléfono) me dijo que Sofia estaba aburrida de la misma decoración y quiso aprovechar el momento para quitarla. No puedo ni imaginar que otras cosas hará está niña. Ahora tengo que redecorar el cuarto.

They were with me in the living room and while I spoke by the phone they played. But, they were bored of playing with their things and they started to jump on the furniture. So, to avoid an accident, I decided to take them to their room and I returned to the living room. A few minutes, I heard as if someone was tearing paper and I went there to check them out.
Surprise, Ana Sofia had just climbed to the top of the little house and had removed some of the princesses' decals on their bedroom wall, while Ana Paola was just playing with them. My mom (who I was speaking to by the phone) told me that Sofia must be bored of the same decoration and wanted to take advantage of the moment to remove it. I don't want to think what other things she might do next. Now I have that redecorate the room.

They were 5 months old

I think they were saying: "Run mom, because that camera is for us."

I loved it when they were babies and we use to hold them all the time. But now, each one weights almost 30 pounds.

Nuestro Fin de Semana / Our Weekend

El fín de semana fue fabuloso. Primeramente, teníamos un día feriado (hoy) a nuestro favor lo que significaba que Pablo estaría dos días completos libres. El sábado, tuvimos que dejar las nenas en casa de mami en lo que él y yo ibamos a arreglar el aire acondicionado de la guagua. No encontramos ningún técnico que arreglara el aire así que regresamos a buscar a las nenas. Ellas no querían irse así que nosotros fuimos a hacer ciertas compras. Yo adoro a mis hijas pero, Pablo y yo también necesitamos tiempo a solas. Simplemente hablar, ver una película, algo donde no hayan gritos o uno este en tensión realizando las compras por que sabes que hay que alimentarlas, cambiar un pañal o es tiempo de la siesta o dormir. Ese poquito tiempo a solas que paso fue maravilloso.

El domingo, fuimos a divertirnos al Parque Monagas en Ponce. Pasamos una tarde sensacional. Pueden ver las fotos aquí. Mientras que hoy, simplemente tuvimos nuestro día en familia. Wow, hoy sí que realizamos muchísimas tareas. Pero, fue un día maravilloso. Mientras, seguimos esperando para arreglar el aire de la guagua, así que eso será o mañana o durante la semana.

PS: Aún no he recibido recetas o ideas de que tipo de comidas sencillas preparar para mis niñas. Espero poder contar con su ayuda.

This weekend was fabulous. Primarily, we had a holiday (today) to our favor which signified that Pablo had two complete days free of work. On Saturday, we had to leave the girls at my mother's house so we could go to to fix the air conditioning of the minivan. We couldn't find any technician who could fix the a/c so we went back to pick up the girls. They did not want to leave grandma's house so we went to some shoping. I worship my daughters but, Pablo and I also need some time alone. Just to talk, or see a movie, something where there will be not shouts or not having the tension while shopping because you know it's time to feed them, to change a diaper, naptime or time to go to sleep. That little bit time we had alone was marvelous.

Sunday, we went to Monagas Park in Ponce. We pass a sensational afternoon. You can see the photos here. While today, we simply had our family day. Wow, today we completed a lot tasks. But, was a marvelous day. We are still waiting for a chance to fix the a/c of the minivan, that will be even tomorrow or during the week.

Friday Foto Finish Fiesta FX4

Nada mejor que compartir fotos de mis niñas. En esta ocasión veremos lo bien definido que ellas tienen el concepto de "TRABAJAR EN EQUIPO". Ayer, mientras yo realizaba la limpieza escuché a mis niñas reír a carcajadas y como madre ya uno sabe en que momento algo ocurre, así que me dirijí a su habitación y eso fue lo que encontré. Disfruten de su trabajo en equipo.

There's nothing better than sharing photos of my girls. In this occasion we will see how well they apply the concept of "TEAM WORK". Yesterday, while I was cleaning the house, I listened my girls laughing to much and as a mother I always know when something is happening, so I went to their room and here is what I found. Real teamwork.

Jugando en el Patio / Playing Outside

Aprovechando que han habido días ventosos y que no hay muchos mosquitos, Sofia y Paola han podido disfrutar del patio de nuestro hogar. No es muy grande y aún no tenemos un columpio para jugar pero, por lo menos pueden correr y disfrutar de sus carritos. Así que diariamente salimos a jugar un rato. A ellas les encanta y a mí me fascina ya que podemos disfrutar de aire fresco.

Recuerden que les solicite (si tienen) recetas para realizar con las niñas. Tanto de comidas sencillas o postres.

Que tengan un Viernes sensacional.

Taking advantage that these days have been windy and that there are not many mosquitos, Sofia and Paola have been able to enjoy the patio of our home. It is not very large and we do not have a swing to play yet but, at least they can run and enjoy their carts. So every day wetake them out to play for a while. They love it and it fascinates me because we can enjoy some fresh air.

Please remember my request of recipes that I could do with the girls. Anything from simple meals to desserts.

Cocineras Pequeñas / Little Chef's

En los pasados días hemos realizado variadas actividades con Sofia y Paola. No solo jugamos, cantamos, bailamos, contamos o aprendemos el ABC, sino que hemos incluido a la cocina en nuestras actividades. El miércoles pasado hicimos bizcochitos al igual que hoy y ayer hicimos pizza. Es fascinante ver sus caritas al momento de crear algo nuevo pero, lo mejor es comer. Tan solo espero que a ellas les guste cocinar y crear cosas nuevas (a mí por lo menos, no me gusta cocinar pero, sí crear cosas nuevas).

Me encantaría que pudieran enviarme recetas (comida, postres, meriendas,etc.) para realizar con Sofia y Paola.

Aquí les comparto fotos de ayer cuando hicieron las pizzas y mañana podrán ver las otras fotos.

This last few days we have made various activities with Sofia and Paola. Not alone we played, singed, danced, counted or learned the ABC, but we included the kitchen in our activities. Last Wednesday we did cupcakes just like today and yesterday we did pizza. It is fascinating to see their faces when they try something new but, the best is to eat. I hope that in the future they will like cooking and to create new things (to me at least, i do not like to cook but, I do like to create new things).

I would love that someone could send me recipes (food, desserts, afternoon snacks, etc.) that I can make with Sofia and Paola.
Here I share photos of yesterday's kitchen adventures when we were making the pizzas and tomorrow I will post some other photos.
