My Niece birthday party: part 1

The party was last Saturday and we had a great time. The theme was twilight so, the colors were red, white, black and added apples and things related with the saga.

Let's start with some pictures before we went to church.

School!!!

Well is that time when we need to start thinking about registration. I don't know if the girls are going to stay at the same school, ok let's change it a little bit, I don't know if I'm going to have work. Our private school had new owner since August and that means lots of changes. If I have the opportunity to evaluate their work in a scale of one thru ten is my be a five or six. Come on, they promise a lot of changes and at this point, they failed. I like my job and the environment but don't like lies. But at the same time, is hard to find a job at the public system and the government approved a law  where teachers loose all the benefits.

I don't know what to do?

1. Can't wait to be part of my niece sweet 15 party. God bless her!!
2. Need to fill our taxes.
3. Book and planning our summer vacations.
4. Anxious to paint my girls bedroom
5. Need to find a good storage system for the girls toys.
6. Can't wait to enjoy summer and vacations. I'm feeling so tired lately.
7. Thinking on what is the best for our family. Decisions, decisions and decisions, is not easy.

Tired !!!

We had a great weekend, nothing fancy but at least we finished some things for my niece birthday this weekend. Yesterday, we changed the girls bunkbeds at they are using it at single bed (you know each girl with a twin bed). We also cleaned all the bedroom (walls, bed sheets, windows, curtains, everything) and it smell so freshly. Just a good Sunday.

Today, Pablo have the day because the holiday but I have work. At school er did a deep cleaning in one storage room, it was gross. We had to use gloves.

Now, I'm a tired teacher with a lots of things for this week.

Hi!!

The norm is that my only posts are on weekends, ha! Let's recap our week:
Monday: I bought the dress for my niece birthday party next week
Tuesday thru Friday: Our days were filled with homework, worked and shoes hunting. Yes, you read correctly. My mother and I are looking for comfy shoes for the party plus we are looking for red shoes for the girls.

In other news, yesterday we received the girls grades and they did an excellent job. We are so proud of them.

This weekend was supposed to be a long weekend for us but I have work on Monday. Is not fair because we (teachers) are going to clean. Is not fair!!!!! What can I do? Nothing!!!

How was our weekend?

It was great. Basically,  we did nothing except,  laundry. Our weekend was filled with my niece birthday,  dinner for her birthday,  pj's, dance, new tennis and to close our long weekend, with an earthquake (well two). That was the beggining of our Monday.

Let's see what happens today. Nothing better than a long weekend after school started.

Three Kings Day 2014!

Last day of vacations for me!

Well, today was my last day of vacations. Today we stayed home (Pablo worked half day) and did some cleaning. All the Christmas decorations are packed until November, ha! I decided to rearranged the furniture and it looks like we changed everything, love it. The girls went to my parents house for sleepover so they don't have to wake up at 6 tomorrow so, they have the opportunity to sleep in (is their last day of vacations).

I'm praying that everything goes well during this second semester.

Thanks God this week is a three days school and the other one is a four days, yay me!!!

I will post pictures of our Three Kings Day tomorrow.

Our Weekend!!

We had an amazing weekend. Is a holiday weekend here because tomorrow we celebrate Three Kings Day!

Friday: was a relaxed day. Both girls and I had our pj's all day.

Saturday: We had lunch at La Parguera,  we had (I ) had seafood, and some delicious appetizers.  By, night we went to Church and after mass, to ate dinner at Pizza Hut.

Sunday: Pablo and I went to last shopping for three kings day. Meanwhile, my mom took care of the girls and they went to Church for Mass and to received a gift from the three kings. They had a great time and I'm so thankful that my mom took them to Church.

We are anxious to see the girls reaction when they open their gifts.

January 1st and 2nd!

On New Year's Day (January 1) we woke up around noon.  Had a late brunch and stayed in our pj's all day.  We just ate and played, definitely a great started to our year. Also, Pablo did the laundry and ai checked the girls bags for school.
 
Yesterday,  Pablo worked all day. The girls and I stayed home. I'm tryung to organize our stuff before school starts next week. And I'm also making my lessons for school.

New Years Day and Eve!

During the afternoon we went to ate at Chili's and shopping.  It was a perfect afternoon for our family. Later,  for the night we went to my parents house.

It was a great end for 2013.

Plans for 2014!!!

What plans we have for this year? Read our list:

1. Celebrating my niece sweet 15.
2. Start planning our summer vacation.
3. At least, try to fix or made five things around the house.
4. Buy a car (used car).
5. Make lots of memories as a family.

I'm not making resolutions because by March I forgot it, ha!.
